Archangel's Enigma

Alt text - quote from Archangel's Enigma: 'He moved even closer, until his nose was a bare whisper above hers. "You have secrets," he said slowly. "You wear another skin, too." Andromeda went motionless, the game suddenly dangerous.'

It's the turn of Naasir and Andromeda as we countdown to the release of Archangel's Eternity! In book number eight, Archangel's Enigma, we follow the most feral of Raphael's Seven as he embarks on a treacherous quest, aided by an angelic scholar with dangerous secrets.

Good News: Archangel's Enigma

I woke up to the news that ARCHANGEL'S ENIGMA hit the New York Times and USA Today Bestseller lists. A great big shout out to all of you who made this happen! You are amazing!

Thank you for sticking with me on this often wild, sometimes crazy, always romantic Guild Hunter ride!

Newsy Stuff

Thank you for an amazing release week for Archangel's Enigma! I'm so glad you're enjoying Naasir and Andi's story. I had so much fun hanging out with these two (and the rest of the cast).

Before I share all the other news, don't forget to swing by the blog around 10am EST/September 8th. (That's Tues 3pm/London, 4pm/Berlin, midnight Tues/Wed Sydney, Wed 2am/NZ). I'll be posting the moody, gorgeous cover of Rock Redemption.

If you'd like to read an early review of Noah and Kit's story, reviewer Marilina shared this Goodreads review with me today.

This week, I'm finishing up the "secret" Psy-Changeling anthology I mentioned in this future of the Psy-Changeling series post. If you'd like to try to figure out what the final novella is about without first reading that post, check out this Instagram post I did.

As I said in the linked blog post, I didn't want to schedule the anthology until it was complete or close to complete, so I've only just recently spoken to my editor about it. More news to come, but it looks like it'll be releasing in the second half of 2016, so you'll get a bonus Psy-Changeling release next year. :-)

I'm also working on Psy-Changeling #15, my ensemble cast, family-focused book. (It's tougher than it sounds!!)

And, because I can't help myself, I'm also making notes for the next Rock book as well.

I hope you're all having an awesome start to the week. :-)

Archangel's Enigma & Newsletter & Spoiler Thread

I just got back home after signing preordered copies of Archangel's Enigma for Mighty Ape NZ. I'm so excited for the release!!!

Early copies have started popping up in bookstores, and the downloads should begin soon, if they haven't already.

I hope you all fall in love with Naasir and Andromeda's story! I had SO MUCH FUN with these two. They are awesome characters to be around.

Australian & NZ readers: You have the same release date as the US - September 1st. This is definite for print copies, so you should find it on the shelf at your local bookstore, but I'm not certain about ebooks (those may be linked to the UK download, in which case, it should start to download as soon as it turns Sep 3rd in the UK).

Plus, if you're on Facebook, there is a Spoiler Discussion Group for Archangel's Enigma. Follow the link to join. I've also set up a discussion thread on the blog at this link. Have fun chatting! :-)

Last but not least, don't forget the newsletter goes out in approximate ten or so hours, and it'll have a second excerpt from Rock Redemption. Subscribe here if you're not a member already. You should get a confirm link in your email, and soon as you click that, you should get a Welcome newsletter with links to previous newsletter exclusives, including short stories. If it doesn't arrive, let Ashwini know and she'll figure out what's up. Her email is: nalini DOT assistant AT gmail DOT com. (Replace the DOT and AT with . and @).

Archangel's Engima Spoiler Thread

This is the thread where you can discuss Archangel's Engima freely. *SPOILERS* are permitted, so look away if you haven't read the book yet!

This is a thread for reader discussion. If you have questions specifically for me, please email me. Or wait until I have my next big Q&A (should be soonish).

As always, please be kind and respectful to one another, and have fun!

Countdown to ARCHANGEL'S ENIGMA

Archangel's Enigma Excerpt

"[A] surprisingly playful romance... The blend of intimate tenderness and globe-spanning action reaches new highs in Singh’s most exciting novel yet."

- Publishers Weekly on Archangel's Enigma (Starred Review)

The second advance excerpt of Archangel's Enigma is now available! I hope you enjoy. :)

Vancouver

A great big thank you to all of the readers who made my first Canadian signing so totally awesome!! Now I'm going to expect a standing-room only audience at any future signings I do here! :-)

We did record the Q&A and so did a reader, so once one of the videos goes live, I'll post up the info.

Then, to top off my good mood this morning, I woke to find the Psy-Changeling series on NPR's list of 100 Swoon-Worthy Romances. Check it out - there are tons of great recommendations on the list!

Today and tomorrow, I'm holing up in my hotel room to finish the final proofs of Rock Redemption. It's already been edited and proofread professionally, but I like to do my own read before I turn over the manuscript for formatting, make sure no gremlins have snuck in.

Also, don't forget, the second excerpt from Archangel's Enigma goes up next week, August 4th.

I hope you're all having an awesome week so far. What are you up to?

Archangel's Enigma ARC Contest

Contest now closed. Winners have been notified.

  ARCHANGEL'S ENIGMA ARC CONTEST

(International entries welcome)

Please note, you MUST include your mailing address in the entry. (We have to post these out before we fly to New York tomorrow, so there will be no time to follow up. Entries without mailing addresses will be disqualified.)

If you'd like to go in the random draw to win one of 7 Advanced Reading/Review Copies of Archangel's Enigma, send an e-mail to naliniDOTassistantATgmailDOTcom (replace DOT/AT with symbols ./@), with:

ARCHANGEL'S ENIGMA ARC Contest" in the subject line

AND

Your mailing address in the body of the email.

By 9a.m., 15th July 2015, New Zealand time.

Contest now closed. Winners have been notified.

Please follow the correct format for entry re the subject line, so your e-mail goes into the right in-box. (Your e-mail address will only be used to contact you should you win, and your mailing address will only be used to post out the ARC to you should you win.)

Since this is an Advanced Review Copy, if you win, we'd ask that you please post a review somewhere before the release date (September 1st) - on a blog, on Amazon, B&N, Goodreads...it's up to you, but it would be much appreciated if you'd post your thoughts somewhere. The contents of the review are, of course, totally up to you.

A note about the ARC - it's substantially the same as the final book, but since ARCs are printed prior to the final round of edits, there are some errors in the text that aren't in the final book.

- Nalini & Ashwini : )

The fine print: Contest is open internationally. One entry per household. Entries without mailing addresses included will be disqualified. No purchase necessary to enter. Winners will be chosen randomly using random.org and the ARCs mailed out on 15th July 2015. Void where prohibited.

Edits, Blurbs, Excerpts, and Newsletter Vignette

Lots of news today!

I've just got the manuscript for the next Rock Kiss book back from the copy editor, so I'll have my head down for the next week going over that.

The blurb will be ready for release next week, on the 15th. Don't forget to swing by to have a read. No cover yet, but it's in progress! Release date is October 6th.

The first Archangel's Enigma excerpt is up on the website. This is the same excerpt as that which went out in the June newsletter. The second advance excerpt will be up on August 4th. Then the book will release on September 1st!

I'm continuing to work on the Psy-Changeling novella anthology I mentioned last year in this post. No release date on that yet as I want to complete everything first, but I'm  now on the final novella (two stubborn characters who are meant to be together and who are giving me fits! More to come once I figure out what's happening with them).

The July newsletter will be going out in about ten hours after this post goes live. I've written a brand new vignette for it that I hope you'll all enjoy. If you aren't yet a subscriber, you can join up at this link. If you join too late for this month's newsletter, or have any other issues subscribing, email Ashwini and she'll make sure you get a copy: naliniDOTassistantATgmailDOTcom

So that's my news. What are you up to?

p.s. Sorry for the missing book club last week. We're back to regularly scheduled programming as of this week!
