Taken from just outside the bridge of the ship on a day so clear it was crystalline. I used no filters in the above shot, did nothing fancy. It really was that clear and beautiful.

See the tiny dots at the bottom? Those are people. We hiked a long way to get this gorgeous shot of Neko Harbour!

Vancouver

A great big thank you to all of the readers who made my first Canadian signing so totally awesome!! Now I'm going to expect a standing-room only audience at any future signings I do here! :-)

We did record the Q&A and so did a reader, so once one of the videos goes live, I'll post up the info.

Then, to top off my good mood this morning, I woke to find the Psy-Changeling series on NPR's list of 100 Swoon-Worthy Romances. Check it out - there are tons of great recommendations on the list!

Today and tomorrow, I'm holing up in my hotel room to finish the final proofs of Rock Redemption. It's already been edited and proofread professionally, but I like to do my own read before I turn over the manuscript for formatting, make sure no gremlins have snuck in.

Also, don't forget, the second excerpt from Archangel's Enigma goes up next week, August 4th.

Leaving Hong Kong tonight. Had such a great trip, loved meeting so many of you, but am ready to get back home and at work on Psy/Changeling #14 plus the copy edits for ARCHANGEL'S SHADOWS!! :-)

I'm on my way to the RT Convention in New Orleans.

We stayed in night in Los Angeles after our long-haul flight to the States (12 hours in the air) and had dinner with my awesome agent, Nephele Tempest, at The Grove & Farmer's Market.

I wish I could've spent longer in LA. but it's on to the next flight. See some of you in New Orleans!! Remember, the giant Saturday book signing is open to the public for a minimal fee (I think it's $5). Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Travel: High Atlas Mountains, Morocco

I took this in the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco. I love how the roads ribbon through the mountain range, and the sky is so clear. The vehicles  to the right give you an indication of the scale of the landscape.

One of these days, when you least expect it, this mountain range will appear in a book. :-)
 

Travel Postcard: Aoraki/Mt. Cook National Park

This was my ride yesterday to one of the peaks in Aorak/Mt. Cook National Park in the South Island of New Zealand. So much fun! And the view was breathtaking. Hope you're all having a good start to the week. :)
