Audible Interview Now Live

Hello lovely people! <3 span=""> I was interviewed for Audible by Faith Salie recently and the interview is now live.

As you'll hear, the interview was recorded at 6am my time. Which meant this night owl had to get up before 6am. Egads! There was a lot of tea involved. ;-)

I hope you enjoy the interview!

Short Story Requests

Nalini's updating her list of requested newsletter short stories! Which of her character(s) would you like to get an update on via a newsletter short story? Or is there something that was mentioned in a book that you'd like to read a little bit more about? Please remember that these will need to work well in a short story format. Nalini calls these peeks into the windows of the characters' lives, so whose life would you like a peek at?

Which requests get fulfilled is totally up to Nalini and the characters, but there's no harm in asking!

Ready, set...go!!! :) ~Ashwini

Archangel's Viper Blurb

Enter New York Times bestselling author Nalini Singh’s breathtakingly passionate Guild Hunter world with the story of a woman who isn’t a vampire or an angel…or human…

Once a broken girl known as Sorrow, Holly Chang now prowls the shadowy gray underground of the city for the angels. But it’s not her winged allies who make her a wanted woman—it’s the unknown power coursing through her veins. Brutalized by an insane archangel, she was left with the bloodlust of a vampire, the ability to mesmerize her prey, and a poisonous bite.

Now, someone has put a bounty on her head…

Venom is one of the Seven, Archangel Raphael’s private guard, and he’s as infuriating as he is seductive. A centuries-old vampire, his fangs dispense a poison deadlier than Holly’s. But even if Venom can protect Holly from those hunting her, he might not be able to save himself—because the strange, violent power inside Holly is awakening…

No one is safe.

SILVER SILENCE ARC CONTEST

(International entries welcome)

If you'd like to go in the random draw to win one of 5 Advanced Reading/Review Copies of Silver Silence, send an e-mail to naliniDOTassistantATgmailDOTcom (replace DOT/AT with symbols ./@), with:

SILVER SILENCE ARC Contest in the subject line AND your name and shipping address in the body of the email (entries without names and shipping addresses will be disqualified).

By 10pm, 14th March 2017, New Zealand time.

Please follow the correct format for entry re the subject line, so your e-mail goes into the right in-box. (Your e-mail address will only be used to contact you should you win, and your mailing address will only be used to post out the ARC to you should you win.)

Since this is an Advanced Review Copy, if you win, we'd ask that you please post a review somewhere before the release date (June 13th) - on a blog, on Amazon, B&N, Goodreads...it's up to you, but it would be much appreciated if you'd post your thoughts somewhere. The contents of the review are, of course, totally up to you.

A note about the ARC - it's substantially the same as the final book, but since ARCs are printed prior to the final round of edits, there are some errors in the text that aren't in the final book.

ARCHANGEL'S VIPER (out September 2017)

He smiled and slid off the sunglasses. Eyes slitted like a viper’s met hers, the color a bright astonishing green. “I see you missed me, kitty,” he mouthed.

Good News & Writing Update

Coming out of my hermit cave for a little while (shh, don't tell Ashwini) to share a writing and good news update:

In awesome news, Allegiance of Honor, Archangel's Heart, and Rock Wedding have all been nominated for RT Reviewers' Choice Awards!  In more awesome news, Allegiance of Honor, Wild Embrace, and Archangel's Heart have been nominated for the Australian Romance Readers Association Awards!

In writing news, the copy edits for Silver Silence are done, and now I'm working on Archangel's Viper. The review copies for Silver Silence won't go out until the proofs are ready, which should be in a few weeks or so (but don't quote me on that!).

Right, off I sidle back to my cave to chain myself to the keyboard. :D

Who's Coming To Dinner?

Hi guys. Nalini's busy working on Silver Silence (!), so I'm taking over the blog. *Evil laugh* I have a very important question to ask: if you could invite one character from the Guild Hunter/Psy-Changeling/Rock Kiss series over for dinner, who would it be and why?? ~Ashwini

p.s. Not that I'm biased or anything, but I'd invite my awesome kickass alter ego. :P

Archangel's Viper

...is the title of the next Guild Hunter book.

No full blurb yet as I've just started writing, but here's a small temporary blurb.

Return to the epic and dangerous world of the Guild Hunters in this new adventure from New York Times bestselling author Nalini Singh, as immortal angels, vampires, and mortals struggle to build a new world order...

Venom has always been one of the most mysterious and seductive members of the Seven--Archangel Raphael's personal guard. But even this powerful vampire has no idea what awaits when he returns to New York...and to a woman who might be the greatest threat of all...
