And now, onto today's Reader Interview! Today's interviewee is Soraya, all the way from Paris, France!

1. Tell us a bit about yourself.

Soraya, 35 years old, single and I live in Paris (France). I'm a lawyer's secretary. Since I'm 14 I read voraciously romance books, I don't have any genre preferences. I took English classes after work when I learn that some of Amanda Quick books were not translated in French - she was my favorite author back then.

2. Are you a hoarder or do you give your books away?

I have given a lot of my books away since my little sister offers me a palm :) I only kept my very favorites one :)

3. What author might tempt you into turning stalker?

Linda Howard, JAK, Christine Feehan, Lora Leigh, Stella Cameron, Angela Knight, Shelly Laurenston, Laurell K. Hamilton, Jaci Burton and Nalini Singh.

4. How susceptible are you to chocolate?

I can kill for a box of Jeff de Bruges chocolates.

5. Favorite book? Why?

I really don't have "one" favorite book.

6. If you knew you were going to be stuck on a desert island, what three things would you take with you?

Well Brad Pitt and Denzel Washington are taken soo... let me think...

- Jack (from lost)
- a swiss army knife
- chocolate

7. What did you eat for breakfast?

a croissant

8. How many books in your current to-be-read pile?

the last I check something like 20... or so...

9. Describe your idea of a perfect hero.

My hero of all time, Gideon from "Ravished" by AQ.

Ms. Nalini-stop tempting me into the ebooks again! Hahaha.

Ms. Soraya- Gosh, I really like your name. It's so pretty. So you like Jack better than Sawyer? I like them both, but Charlie was my fave and he's gone now.

Soraya - I love Paris. I wish I could live there.

Talking about e-books, any recommendations on type/format. I saw a good review for the Amazon one (Kindle) but the book prices seem really high. The Sony had so-so reviews. Anyone with any opinions?

Amy~My friend got Kindle and she really loved it. I'm not sure what type of formats the Kindle has, but ebooks overall, I usually prefer Adobe or Microsoft reader. Ebooks actually are rather pricey.

I want to go to France(mainly cuz of the food), but am a bit intimidated due to horror stories from friends. I will go, but donno when.

Soraya - I just love that you learnt English to read romance novels :) Oh, and I love Linda Howard too - those Mackenzie males can sure make a girl swoon (just like Nalini's Changelings :)

Thanks to Nalini I am now officially hooked on ebooks. I don't know if I should kiss her or hit her for that. lol. I tend not to buy a new book as an ebook, but after I read one that I know I want to keep I will then download it to keep and give away or trade in my paper copy. Which means I actually pay for a book I like twice, but for me, it's worth it. I really like the Books On Board site and I've gotten attached to the Mobipocket format on my Palm Pilot. Downloading books is my new obsession. :-) Of course, I'm still waiting for StS and VoH on ebook, darnit!!!!

Soraya and Alice - I, too, heard a few negative stories from folks before I went to France, but I've personally been twice now (Paris and Normandy) and experienced nothing but warmth, fun and fabulous food! Alice, run, don't walk, to plan your trip to France. Paris is tres magnifique!

I love Paris! - It`s a remarkable town. Walking through the streets of Paris is wonderfull. All the nice buildings and different nationalities. I`m faszinated by the Basilika Sacré-Coer.(It looks somehow surreal).
