Friday night I am supervising my Cadette Girl Scout troop (12 year olds) as they run a BINGO night for 140 six, seven and eight year olds. Yes, that's right... 140 little girls playing BINGO. This sounded like such a good idea back in September.......
Hi, Nalini! :) Did you miss me? J/K. I'm not allowed to be on the computer much due to a really, really bad case of tendonitis. I'm wearing a splint and everything. *sigh* Sick & tired of not being able to do anything, including working on my WIP.
Kerry...ugh, that sounds tough! Sending cyber-chicken soup to you and your peanut!
Hi Nalini - Well, it's Thursday night here in DC. I'm watching football (American) on TV and thinking about what I'm going to wear to work tomorrow.
But this weekend a little holiday shopping and some relaxation, I think. I just picked up five books, so I'll be spending some time reading. Right now I'm working on Blood Brothers by Nora Roberts. It's incredibly creepy and atmospheric.
Kaitlin - I've just recovering from tendonitis; my wrists are OK at present (apart from being very weak). So, I kind of know how you feel. I hope you're feeling better soon!
Hang in there Kerry!
Unfortunately, I'm present shopping tomorrow (it has to be done) and hopefully (FINALLY) planting my peas and beans (yes, I'm a bit slow). And continuing to read Lord of Light and Shadows :) MaryKate - it's gooooood (but I don't like Queen Annoura).
orannia
PS I'm also working on glasses that can see invisible sneaky authors who tease us mercilessly with excerpts...hehehehe
Phew! I'm just glad tomorrow is Friday! The week following holidays always seem to be the worst. But I did get a screening pass to see the movie "Where the While Things Are" so that's something I'm looking forward to to get me through tomorrow :)
Have had a cold this week, so managed to read a couple of books from my TBR pile while off work. Planning to do some gardening, Christmas shopping and reading this weekend - Lara Adrian's Midnight Awakening (eBook), Kinley MacGregor's The Warrior (eBook) and Sherrilyn Kenyon's Upon The Midnight Clear.
MaryKate - we've got a dif kind of football craziness going on in NZ. David Beckham's in the country and everyone's gone soccer mad!
Nalini - I admire your restraint in not *totally* stalking Becks. He's #1 on my Top 5 List. So yummy...
shellbell - I'd be really interested to hear what you think of the Lara Adrian book. I've heard raves about it. I haven't read any of them, but the latest round of reviews makes me think I should be reading her.
orannia - Can I get a big "I told you so?!" LOL! I adore the CL Wilson books. They're just so ingeniously written. Enjoy! The ending packs a whallop, so do everything you need to before you start reading the ending. You won't even want to get up to get a drink or stretch.

marykate - Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series is well worth reading. Only 3 books in the series so far (book 4 due to be released March 2008) and I have thoroughly enjoyed them all - can't quite decide which book is my favourite!

I got up early today to do some errands so I'm planning to take a short nap. Then it's off to babysitting.

Holiday shopping. Does it every end! More fighting crowds so that I can get it finished!

Hope all's well with you. :D
Hello. Just wanted to say that I read Visions of Heat and Caressed by Ice this past week and enjoyed them both. Looking forward to your next book(s)!
I've had a sick three year old for a week (first chickenpox, followed by an infection). If I can stay conscious and vaguely coherent, I'll be happy!

Finals are next week so I'm preparing for He!!.
Other than that, not much actually.
I saw Enchanted last night, which is a hysterical movie :)
Hope HtP is going well. It's Dorian so how could it not? ;)
