Just read the newsletter, with the covers of both versions, and the blurb again. Suddenly noticed there's a theme in the Trinity books: Dangerous, potentially catastrophic, previously unknown psy powers. (although, now that I think about it, Ocean Light was more about Bo's death, or lack thereof. But every book so far has that "someone important is going to die but doesn't" aspect to it, and it's usually because of some new, deadly psy power that ends up being tamed in some fashion)
