Reading & Writing

I'm working on the first draft of Psy-Changeling #13 (Vasic's story), and he's making me a little crazy. So difficult to get him to talk!

In other news, I opened up Whisper of Sin to check something tonight and ended up reading the whole novella. I adore Emmett and Ria. This particular exchange between Emmett and a young Dorian (the story is set a few years back) made me grin.

"Sooooo...what happens if I flirt with Ria?"
"I use your ribs to make a wind chime."
"That's what I thought."

If you haven't read this novella, it'll be available on its own in electronic format in March next year. It's currently available as part of the Burning Up anthology, which is completely awesome and includes one of my all time favorite novellas by Meljean Brook - "Here There Be Monsters".

It's now after midnight and I feel like a little more reading - hmm, what to choose (not that I don't have a towering tbr pile!)

What are you up to?

I like Vasic a lot. - Bribe him with the litte ones Nalini. He likes children, right?

I´m working for two (I´ve to cover for my teamleader.) for the next three weeks.- It´s a bit exhausting after troublesome days. Sadly that affects my reading at the moment.

I'm playing with photoshop, I didn't know it was so easy to make my own brushes.

When my characters don't want to speak to me what I do is annoy them, pick on them, make fun of them, then they get angry enough at me they start talking, LOL! (this sounds so demented, sorry).

I am trying to fix an unresolved error with my digital library program. I have had nothing but computer issues this past month and ended up reformatting my PC.

I loved Emmett and Ria's story. But I do not have time to reread them right now, tempting as it is ;)

Yes, Vasic seems to be a quiet man. Whisper of Sin is one of my favorites. Love the scenes with her Grandmother, what a woman! I'm still re-reading all of the Eve Dallas books by J. D. Robb, there are a lot of them.

Nalini, you got Kaleb to talk, that means there's hope for Vasic yet. ;)
