JAK Keeper

I reread one of my keeper books the other day - Wildest Hearts by Jayne Ann Krentz. I'm a total JAK fan and I just found myself falling in love with this book all over again.

The hero, Oliver Rain, is so quintessentially alpha, and the heroine, Annie, is wonderfully likable. I think part of why I loved this book is that Oliver is so together...except when it comes to Annie. Got to love those strong men and the way they fall for their women. Sigh.

What are some of your keepers and why do you love them?

Emmy - I like Sweet Liar (esp the twin thing at the family picnic), too, but my fave Jude Deveraux is Remembrance (makes me cry every time!).

I do visit Running With Quills - it's a great blog. :)

one of my all time favorite keepers is judith mc naught's once and always. i also like paradise by the same author. the first romance novel i ever read was jude deveraux' knight in shining armor, and that's a keeper too! sadly i've lost all my copies cos i keep lending it out and no one ever returns them! hahaha :)

wandergurl - I like McNaught's Paradise too, but it's Until You that sticks most in my mind. I want to kill the hero for what he does at the end but argh, I still want to reread the book!

I'm a total newbie here (Hi!) The majority of Amanda Quick's books especially RAVISHED as that is the one book that got me started on supernatural thriller/mystery romances which now i am happy to say i see more in that genre everyday.
The majority of JAK's are keepers as Marjorie Liu's Dirke and Steele.

Outside of romance i would say Jim Butcher Dresden Files series. Those suckers are addictive!

Welcome Shar! I love Amanda Quick's books, esp the older ones. Those brooding yet intelligent alpha men just do it for me *g*
