I just read Asil and the No Date by Patricia Briggs. It's a short story that's part of her Alpha and Omega series. I laughed so hard while reading it. That led me to re-read the series.
If you have not read the series before, I highly recommend you start at the first book Cry Wolf. There is a short story called Alpha and Omega that introduces Charles and Anna (the two main characters of the series).
I'm on book #6 of Mary Balogh's Survivor Series as an audiobook. I'm working my way through the entire series again. The pacing suits my current need as does the assured happy ending despite trials in the middle. Next up to read is Shelly Laurenston's Bear meets Girl - just an absurd fun read in the series. Next audio books on hold are Close Up by Amanda Quick and Normal People by Sally Rooney.
Up to Wolf Rain in my complete Psy/Changeling series reread. Still on record that I would love an Attie & Dex novella :)
Loved Jeffe Kennedy's The Fiery Crown (Forgotten Empires #2). A great blend of romance, humor, and angst. Really hoping she's able to continue with the series after next year's book 3 as there are some secondary characters I would love to see stories for.
Currently reading Nora Roberts' latest stand-alone title, Hideaway.
Magical Midlife Madness by K.F. Breene. Oh my, this was fun. I can't hardly wait for the next one (due this summer) but this one was a wild and funny ride. Sometimes the best fantasy is a true fresh start, without having to let go of the lessons you've learned. And I want to live in that magical house so very much!
Just finished Silver Silence in my re-read. Eagerly awaiting Alpha Night and speculating about the consortium and other unanswered questions about this arc.
