Friday Book Club

I read a fantastic book in a new paranormal series featuring dragons this week - it's not releasing until mid-2011, so I won't torture you with more info yet, but I think you're going to love it.

Your turn - what're you reading and loving at the moment?

Ahh I wanna know, but you are right, if you tell me now it will be a torture!Right now I picked up 4 books from the library! Dee Davis-Dangerous Desire (which is an AMAZING read so far)I also got Hot as Sin by Bella Andre (which is an o.k read) The 3rd I got is Possess me at Midnight by Shayla Black ( which isn`t really my style of a book so far) and lastly I picked up Bonds of Justice so I can re-read it again, but sadly my sister got her hands on it and she won`t let me read it yet :)*preparing to go hunting for it in few minutes* I will find it :D

Well, I call tell you I've been staring at your prior blog post for the past few days, lol. ;-) I'm not sure if that counts as reading though....There is Gena's comment on it.....

Anyway, I'm just about to pull myself away from Hawke's torso and finally begin The Iron Duke. :-)

Ohhh, dragons.

I'm currently finishing James McGee's Rapscallion. It's set in England during the Napoleanic Wars and the main character is a Bow Street Runner. It's to all intents and purposes historical suspence - very dark and very gritty though. I like it a lot.

After that is one of Amy Lane's books - a sequel to a book (Keeping Promise Rock) I read earlier this year that blew me away.

Nalini - I hope you have a lovely time at Armageddon Expo tomorrow! Wish I could be there as I would love to finally meet you!

Hi Nalini!!!!

Love the cover for Kiss of Snow... AAARRRGGG!!! Now for the wait... but until then... I just finished Gena Showalter's Intertwined and I can not wait until I can get her next one Unraveled...!!!! I tend to be leery of Teen books since I am used to a different style of writing but I have to say Gena... ROCKS!!! Intertwined was phenomenal and I recommend this book to anyone!!! It pretty much has a little bit of everything... suspense, mystery, paranormal romance, etc.
Take care!!!

The Devil's Bride by Stephanie Laurens. I'm new to her books and love them so far. Even though paranormal is really my favourite genre, I read her to expand my vocabulary because I've found I need a dictionary beside me when I read her books! Like "dissapation" - I'm not sure how I'm going to work that into a conversation :)

I'm just finished Suzanne McLeod's second book in the spellcracker series set in London involving the fae, vampires and witches. As an avid reader I'm always on the lookout for new material and stumbled across this new series which has been now added to my auto-buy list. Of course now I've finished the published work I'm back to square one, waiting for my favorite authors to release another book, grrr (I read too fast) Love the cover by the way Nalini

I'm holding off on "new" books because I'm on vacation in 3 weeks to Australia, and it is a LONG flight, so I'll need books. I'll finally get to read Bonds of Justice!!! Yeah!

I just finished reading Meljean Brook's The Iron Duke. Took a little to get into because I'm not a big fan of steampunk, but once I got over that, I loved it! Great world building, solid characters, good plot. Will definitely keep reading this series.
