Imaginary Friends

I often talk to my characters in my head. I consider that absolutely normal. Doesn't everybody have conversations with imaginary people? This is a question I'd really like answered. So tell me, have you ever talked to someone who doesn't exist?

hi nalini. yeah - i'm guilty of talking to imaginary people in my head. that's probably why i'm still hangin on by the clench of my teeth, to this thread we call life. c i made up this character when i started college - and he helped me out over my college years. mainly cause, i was always blue.

these days there are two most important people in my head: God and Me, Myself & I. that adds up 2 heaven and hell. of course.

I read in TIME Magazine that an actualy scientific study was done on children with imaginary friends, and they were actually Better adjusted socially and smarter, more creative, all that jazz.

And that fiction authors tend to react to their characters much like those children (which probably includes most of us) react with their imaginary friends. See? I knew I'd never grown matter how much gray there is in my hair!
