I'm nearly finished with Kresley Cole's latest IAD "Demon from the Dark." It's quite character-driven and a set-up for things to come (battle of the factions). Anyway, a highly entertaining read.
Ohhh. *keeps eyes peeled*I'm currently reading Robyn Carr's Temptation Ridge. While I enjoyed the earlier books, I am having *thinks how to word sentence* ...a number of significant (IMHO) issues with this particular installment. On the plus side, I have a copy of Ginn Hale's Lord of the White Hell waiting for me at home :)
I've been sick so haven't opened a new book, just re reading The Search by Nora Roberts
I'm currently reading shadow game by christine feehan. It's the first of her ghostwalker series and so far I'm finding it a pretty interesting read.
I'm reading Purity in Death. Next up is either Sin Undone or Demon from the Dark. I've also been feeling the overwhelming urge to skim through Branded by Fire to read Hawke and Sienna scenes. Not for any particular reason. *cough* tee hee
I'm currently on book 4 of Angela Knight's Mageverse Series. I've read them all before but thoroughly enjoy her work. (I've got to pick up the rest of your Angel series as I LOVED Angel's Kiss!!!)
Just finished Demon from the Dark by Kresley Cole and now I am reading Charlie All Night (my first Crusie)
I finished Larissa Ione's Sin Undone earlier today, EXCELLENT book!! Kresley Cole's Demon From the Dark is next!
Reading "Men of the Otherworld" by Kelley Armstrong. Also read this week Wisper of Sin and LOVED IT. Couldnt stop giggling like a teenage girl thru it. I love Emmette. Are we gonna see more of him in the future? Thanks Nalini
I just finished Mockingjay, it was pretty amazing. I liked the way it ended, though somethings happened getting right to that point that I thought were too pat and easily passed over. But it is 1st person pretty narrow, so one really knows only what Katniss knows and cares about. I also read Demon after Dark, which I liked quite a bit. Not sure what to read now. Maybe go back and reread Catching Fire and hunger games.
I just started Embers by Laura Bickle. I really like it so far. Sparks comes out next week. I hate to wait for the next in the series. I mean really can't authors write faster??? ;)
Just finished Demon Night by Meljean Brook. I really like her Guardian series, great wordbuilding and a very interesting story. I am starting Demons Not Included by Cheyenne McCray. Also rereading Psy/Changeling series in celebration of Play of Passion!
Just finished reading Mockingjay, book 3 in the Hunger Games trilogy and it's stunning! It's YA but dont misjudge: this is a must-read series for teens & adults alike :)Now reading Captured by Desire by Kira Morgan and When Blood Calls by JK Beck for review. Cant wait to hear what ur reading & enjoying Nalini!
I am reading archangel's kiss for nearly a week now. It's amazing that it lasts so long, but I am on language holiday with my younger sister in England and she needs a lot of attention. But I have to say I enjoy the book and it's good to have it longer! : )
Just finished Demon from the dark, next up should be Christine Warren's Born to be wild or CHristine Feehan's Street game
I agree with Diane P, I wish certain authors would write faster. Yet sometimes it isn't the writers fault. They may write a lot of books fast however they have to wait for the publisher to publish them. For example from everything I have read the Eve Dallas IN DEATH series by JD Robb (AKA Nora Roberts) got started because she had such a backlog of books written that the publishers couldn't keep up unless they just published her LOL. She started the IN DEATH series to fill the time and get a new outlet
Oh I forgot, I meant to also say that I am rereading the over 30 books in the Luis Mendoza series while I wait for next weeks releases by Jayne Ann Krentz, Lynsay Sands and Christine Feehan.I also just got the new Temperance Brennan novel by Reich
I am reading a very amazing book. That story is very interesting. I almost done reading it that is why I am looking for the next book that I am going to read.
Just finished Demon from the Dark, by Kresley Cole. Waiting for the kindle release of Sin Undone by Larissa Ione. Also re-read Affair by Amanda Quick
I've had a good reading month so far.Read the first two books in the Devils series by Lorraine Heath - loved both!Read Hot Finish by Erin McCarthy - LOVED it!Married by Morning by Lisa Kleypas - super fun!I'm currently reading Something about You by Julia James. So far I'm loving it. It's like watching a rom con movie :)
I have many books on the go but this week been reading Changeless by Gail Carriger (library return date and WorldCon coming up next week)
I just finished the Crimson City series written by Liz Maverick and a few others. Also read Mansfield park and Emma by Jane Austen had a nice long car ride to North Carolina and Jane Austen kept me occupied.
kylie, I'm so jealous! I love Kresley Cole's IAD, (am obsessed with it, in fact!) and still haven't gotten my copy of DFTD! Ahhhh! While I wait, I'm rereading the entire IAD series and am currently rereading 'Kiss Of A Demon King' which KC recently won a RITA for! Go KC!
Currently reading The Darkest Lie and I thought Gideon's reverse speech was going to bother me but its so well written that I'm enjoying it
Read Sin Undone by Larissa Ione. It was really good. I am currently reading Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins and I plane to start Demon from the Dark By Kresley Cole tommorrow.@ JasminI also thought Gideon's book would get on my nerves because of his reverse speak, but I agree it was very well written and a great book!
I'm reading Jennifer Estep's Spider's Web, I'm enjoying it so much I jumped ahead to read the last chapter, I have no patience!!
I am reading Angels Blood by you know who, and Can't Stand the Heat by Louisa Edwards
I didn't know Kresley Cole's new one was out. It's a good thing I was heading to the book store anyway.I just finished Jacquelyn Frank's "Hunting Julian". I hadn't read any of her stuff before and I really liked it.
I just finished "Monkingjay" by Suzanne Collins. It's the final book in a the Hunger Games Trilogy. Very good series. Involves a dystopian earth, war, politics, action, adventure, and romance. All the ingredients for a great story! I have mixed feelings about "Mockingjay", but I may be too close to it right now, emotionally. It was devastating, actually. But all in all, I love this series! You should give it a try. :) (And if you like this series, you should try "Battle Royale" by Koushun Takami).
Finished Sin Undone. Loved it.
I've been reading and enjoying a few m/m short stories by Stephani Hecht.Next up will be Nalini's Bonds of Justice and Cynthia Eden's I'll Be Slaying You.I'm really excited about the fact that several Julie Garwood's historical books are finally being released as eBooks, I will be buying them as soon as they become available - as long as geographical restrictions don't stop me from purchasing them!
I have been reading the Guardian series by Meljean Brook, but have been a little behind. I just finished 'Demon Forged' and cried at the end. Her writing is so descriptive and so well-crafted that I can imagine myself in her world. I am now on to 'Demon Blood,' the next in the series.
