Tell me about your favorite new author or book discovery for 2022. It doesn't have to be a debut author/new release, just new-to-you.

My favorite new author I discovered in 2022 is Jeannie Chin. Her first book is The Inn on Sweetbriar Lane which came out in October 2021, but I didn't read until February.
Then there's a novella Only Home with You and book two is Return to Cherry Blossom Way. These are all part of her Blue Cedar Falls series.
If you sign up for her newsletter on her website you get a free novella: A Wedding in Pine Hollow Park, which serves as a prequel for the series.
I enjoyed every entry in this series and am looking forward to many more books by her.
My favorite new authors in 2022 are: Juliette Cross - I love her witch sisters. Dianna Roman - She mainly writes M/M stories that are perfectly balanced between funny and serious. Jax Calder is also a very talented M/M novel writer. Cate C. Wells - I love her rejected Mate wolf series. Elizabeth Dear - Until now I love everything the writes. And Rue Whitney... - Hopefully she will work out the problem with Amazon, so we can read the next novel of the giving in series (M/M).
I honestly have never read so many M/M novels as in 2022. I just thought, give it a try... Love is love.
I discovered Jennifer Estep's books after seeing her name on the Ilona Andrews blog. I started with Only Bad Options. Then I decided to see what else of her books I would enjoy. I'm currently reading her Gargoyle Queen series. The last book will be out March 7, 2023.
My favorite new author is Mia Malone. She writes romances about older people who have lived lives of love, suffering, survival, and loss yet are still willing to risk another roll of the dice for a second chance at a forever love.
