My favorite read of the week was L Penelope's Her Majesty's Wolf.
I also enjoyed Lindsay Buroker's The Flash Gold Chronicles series of novellas. Book one is Flash Gold. It's a steampunk series set in the Yukon during the gold rush.
Other than that it's been various rereads me for this week. Including the first Dragon Gate book, Kingdoms at War. I am currently rereading Sky on Fire (Dragon Gate #5) by Lindsay Buroker in anticipation of the final book in the series.
I've been reading various Peltedverse books by MCA Hogarth (e.g. the Lisinthir's Heirs duology). Now, inspired by one of the other commenters (library addict, I think it was you), I'm rereading Lindsay Buroker's Fallen Empire series.
I got Storm Echo from the library yesterday. As that I got woken up by either a quinceanera party or bachelorette party last night at 11 and could not go back to sleep, I ended up reading half the book before I dropped. If you can't tell by that - I'm loving the book. And as that I'm having far more success lately reading ebooks than physical ones, I think I'm going to request all my TBR pile physical books from the library's e-catalog.
I’m relistening to Guild hunter series —I checked my bookmarks from previous listens first in 2015 and the next in 2019 and now 2022…I’m on first chapter of Archangels legion at moment. Couldn’t wait to start my relistening in prep for archangels resurrection!
All of a sudden I am really, really impatient to read Storm Echo (the last couple of days). I found out that it'll probably be available via libby before the print version I requested is available, so I've got requests in both places now. ...and 4 more people requested it via Libby after I did, so I guess I've got good timing! ... I just have to wait for one more person to finish reading it on Libby, so hopefully soon!!
