I read Lindsay Buroker's entire Fallen Empire series (9 novels, 3 novellas, and 4 short stories). Book one is Star Nomad.

A SciFi series set after an interplanetary war with the heroine searching for her abducted daughter. While that sounds heavy there's a lot of snarky banter and adventure and a definite HEA. I had major issues with one of the secondary characters, but overall I enjoyed the series.

There's a sequel series called Sky Full of Stars I want to read next. Just debating if I want to read something else first.

I'd already read the other same-world series, Fractured Stars (which is one book, 2 novellas, and a short story) a few years ago. It was actually the first thing I read by her. Thinking I will probably reread the series since it is short and I am on a major reread kick this year.

Haven't started anything as yet, but I do plan to read Ilona Andrew's Ruby Fever and Lorraine Heath's Return of the Duke
