Off to a pretty good start in 2022.

My favorite read so far was Shannon Stacey's Her Hometown Man (Sutton's Place #1).

Also enjoying Lindsay Buroker's Dragon Blood series. So far I've read Balanced on the Blade's Edge (Dragon Blood #1), Deathmaker (Dragon Blood #2), and have just started Blood Charged (Dragon Blood #3). This is a fantasy steampunk series and book one is totally a romance novel. The rest of the series includes additional romances with some books featuring other primary couples and other books featuring the main couple from book one, but the focus is more on the ensemble cast and overarching plot.

Oops, hit enter too soon. The books I am most looking forward to this year are:
Hunt the Stars by Jessie Mihalik (Starlight's Shadow #1)
Savage City by L Penelope (The Bliss Wars #1)
A Dance of Smoke and Steel by Milla Vane (A Gathering of Dragons #3)
Storm Echo by Nalini Singh (Psy/Changeling Trinity #6)
Sweetwater and the Witch by Jayne Castle (World of Harmony/Arcane #22)

I behaved and limited myself to only five. But of course looking forward to more In Death by JD Robb as well as a few others.

This week I read Last Guard (Loved it Nalini!) and RAW by S.R. Jones. RAW was a surprise book with a true alpha male.

So far I´m looking forward to:
* Storm Echo
* Fury of Aggression and Fury of Frustration by Coreene Callahan
* The Hellbeasts Mistake by Stephanie Hudson
* Knox by Elizabeth Dear
* and hopefully Dane`s and/or Lobo`s book/s (Breeds) by Lora Leigh

Right now I'm re-reading Grace Draven's extended version of The King of Hel. It is in an anthology with Jeffe Kennedy, Darynda Jones, and Amanda Bouchet called Fire of the Frost.

I am looking forward to some of the books mentioned above like Storm Echo, Sweetwater and the Witch (hmm...I wander if it's one of Cruz Sweetwater's family members?), and Hunt for the Stars.

Jessie Mihalik is working on the second book after Hunt for the Stars called Eclipse the Moon. It's up for pre-order.

I am also looking forward to Ruby Fever by Ilona Andrews. Hopefully the e-book link will be up from Barnes and Noble. Right now it's being worked on. Abandoned in Death by JD Robb is another one I'm anticipating for this year.

It will be interesting if Lobo's book by Lora Leigh comes out this year. She left Cross Breed's Epilogue with Graeme and Lobo talking about Khi.

Any other books from authors I like come out this year...can't wait to read.

I forgot one other book I'm looking forward to this year. That is Soul Taken by Patricia Briggs. It's the latest of her Mercy Thompson series.

I took a deep dive into Lexi C Floss this week. Some are very dark and that's what I was looking for - I've been unable to shake a head cold (it's probably a sinus infection by now) and I guess I was in the place for a good rescue story. I'd never read this author before and it was fun reading across a few different series - but I've stopped because I don't want to burn out on their writing style.
Right at this moment, I am most looking forward to the new Jenny Schwartz book Cajole (book 4 in The Adventures of a Xeno-Archaeologist) and also book 5, coming in March and June, respectively. I purchased and held onto the first 2 in the series, then binged through them and #3, right after 3 was released. As a result, my brain was really pulled into the story. It was a harsh book hangover the day after I finished #3. Of course, there are many other books that I'm looking forward to in 2022. But right now, I'm obsessed with a certain xeno-archaelogist/widow/explorer/stellar mapping specialist/foster mom/prospector/super rich entrepreneur/secret princess/best friend of an alien AI...

I started this year with the Hard Play books. I've finished all three and all I want to do is read more. I am 2 books into the the Rock kiss series...and I'm IN LOVE!!!
Once I finish those, will get into a murder-mystery by Cheryl Bradshaw starting with 'Little girl Lost', that I've been meaning to get into.
I intend to add a few more series' as I go.
Love your writing. Thank you for the stories you tell, they transport me into their world wholly.
