None of the new-to-me books I read this week were standouts.

I reread Veronica Scott's Wreck of the Nebula Dream (Sectors #1) in anticipation of Gianna getting her own book next month (in the Pets in Space 5 anthology). She was a three-year-old in this first book which is a take-off on Titanic, but with a space cruise ship. I had only planned to reread the one book, but find I am now rereading the other direct sequel, Star Survivor (Sectors #9) which features two of the other survivors from book one.

Hoping to start some new-to-me books this weekend.

I'm also begging everyone to be cautious of "Fake News" spreaders/fake reviewers. Believe in your authors' integrity as well as their personal views. Don't be swayed by "seemed to be believable comments/attack," Please 🙇🏽‍♀️

Just finished “Freezing” by Clea Koff. Forensic anthropologists, so you might want to read this one with the doors locked and the lights on. I just hope Ms. Koff continues the series.

Trying to think... I guess most recently, I've been distracted from "One Last Child" by Anni Taylor a suspense novel on Kindle that I'm enjoying, because I read Jane Lindskold's blog post on what society considers makes a 'real writer', and all the problems with that, and shared the link with people, who in return sent me links to great stuff to read. (1.Susan Golubock's article on her work developing a strengths-based approach to teaching autistic people what they want most to learn to achieve their own goals. And in the process also getting them interested in learning other things the world insists on. 2. Bill Watterson's 1990 Commencement address at Kenyon College about what's really important in life.)
