Just read a "Ryder" snippet on the Ilona Andrews website. If anyone has read the Kate Daniels series, these snippets are about Julie around 8 years after Magic Triumphs. The snippets are keeping everyone on their toes. :)

Other than that, I'm doing a lot of re-reads since I work from home during the day. I work for a healthcare system (corporate not a hospital) in the DFW area. Right now I am re-reading Silver Shark by Ilona Andrews.

Would love to read an Alpha Knight snippet. ;) Also, when I think about this new book, the song "November Rain" by Guns 'n Roses comes to mind.

Not sure who the kind, wonderful person at Berkley/Penguin was, but so many thanks to them and Edelweiss Plus for the ARC of Alpha Night. I cannot wait for everyone to read it so we can talk about it.

I still plan to reread Silver Silence, but set it aside when I was surprisingly approved for the ARC. Currently finishing up rereading Alpha Night.

Next I plan to reread Amanda Bouchet's first Endeavor book, Nightchaser, in anticipation of Tuesday's release of book two. Then I will get back to "season two" in my complete Psy/Changeling series reread.

Thanks again, Nalini!

I'm re-reading the 'Shadow' series by Feehan while awaiting the latest book which comes on next month.

Reread Silver Silence because I needed some bears. LOL Now I'm rereading my fave Guild Hunter books. I'd really prefer a few new books but nothing's caught my attention to purchase and the few books I'd like from the library I can't get.

"Lost Child" By Torey Hayden! "Amber Eyes" by Maya Banks, even though it was rather explicit for my tastes, (ebook from my library) and just getting into Nalini's "Whisper of Sin" - borrowed ecopy from my library! Needless to say, it was a productive night last night That I read the remaining parts of the first two and got into the third!

Also just got into "The Oncoming Storm" by Christopher Nuttal from Kindle. Hoping the rest of it, and the next 3 hold up to what I've read! It's a little derivative... reminds me a lot of the Honor Harrington series, and there's at least one borrowing from Star Trek, but good nonetheless. Bought all four from Kindle since they're currently $0.99!
