I just finished Kingdom of Exiles by Maxym Martineau. It was excellent. It felt a little like the fantasy version of Pokemon with all the beasts!
I also read book 1 & 2 of the Rosie O'Grady Paranormal Bar and Grill series by BR Kingsolver. Both were enjoyable.

I am still re-reading, but didn't have much time to read lately. I did finish Allegiance of Honor and started Silver Silence.

I read Silver Fox by Zoe Chant and it was quick but fun, with some silly family moments.
I also tried a new author (for me) and read The Real Thing by Marina Simcoe. It was not what I expected but I enjoyed it and appreciated that it didn't ever turn too dark, despite the plot lines which had that potential. Instead, it was a romance with a bit of action and mystery. There's a lot of potential there for a series and I'd be interested if she ever moves in that direction.

Jaydubbayou, sounds like a good book! looked it up online then had to go buy it! Even though the library apparently has it. I'll let you know how it goes when I'm done it. (which might be a while)

Discovered the newest SWAT (Special Wolf Alpha Team) book by Paige Tyler is out!! Reading it now! (had to borrow from the library because my local bookstores don't typically carry the series, so I'll have to order it later) So excited!! And another one out in November!

I read the first 3 books of the Lady Sherlock series by Sherry Thomas and LOVED them. Highly recommend! The characters she creates are a treat.
