Listening to Wolf Rain. About 1/2 way through and on the edge of my seat. Some wonderful dialog and humor helping me survive the tension.

In honor of Archangel's War coming out in a few months, I started a re-read of the Guild Hunter series. I started with Archangel's Blade (after all the re-reads, I still love this book). Now, I'm skimming/reading Archangel's Heart.

Loved Nicole Helm's The Trouble with Cowboy Weddings (Mile High #5).

Also really enjoyed "re"-reading Jessie Mihalik's The Queen's Advantage (Rogue Queen #2) which she self-published. I say "re"-read because she expanded and changed up a few scenes since she posted it as a free serial on her blog late last year/early this year.

Not reading yet, but I just discovered Jane Lindskold is working on NEW FIREKEEPER BOOKS!!!!!!!! (sorry for shouting) SOOO Excited!!! Yes, they will be shorter, but YAY new Firekeeper books!! One of my favourite feral children fantasy series ever! (only surpassed by the Ukiah Oregon series, and only because that one combines feral children, aliens and shapeshifters in ONE character!!)

Currently working on annotating an (old) list of changeling stories (rather broad definition of 'changeling') for a friend's young relative, so age-appropriate ones can be chosen.

Still working on reading "Wolf Instinct", the new Paige Tyler SWAT book. Made some progress today.

Looks like I won't be getting my hands on Wolf Rain any time soon. The library has 7 copies across the province, 2 of which are on order still, and there are 20 hold requests for it!! Yeah, I'll probably have better luck reading it when it finally comes out in paperback. Hopefully at Christmas time again? If the pattern of the last few holds true? Good thing I've not been in a reading mood lately, so as much as I want to read it, I've known it wouldn't be any time soon. Patience! (now when it comes to the newly discovered option of new Firekeeper books by Jane Lindskold…. not so much in the patience department!! Especially since I've just been informed the first one is available!! Although paper copy will take some more time apparently to be available in this country.)
