Good morning from Germany,
hope you are all well! The read of the week was Wild Invitation and well I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! Declaration of Courtship was soooo cute!
Actually I am trying to catch up with the Freakin`Shifter series by Eve Langlais. Funny and sexy! As the next weeks are crowded with releases books I am waiting for to read since they were announced (Next week alone Coosing Riley by S.E. Smith and A celtic witch by Debora Geary - both highly recomended-) I will miss some sleep... But it will be so worth it...
Happy reading
Cony

Wild Invitation of course! And I reread the Pennyroyal Green series by Julie Anne Longe. It has become next to Courtney Milan one of my favourite historical romance series.

Like everyone else wild invitation. Loved walker and lara's story reading cooper and grace's story now and read the other two stories before them. I always love your short stories after that I have to see what's out there.

I just finished the final book of Alyssa Day's Warriors of Poseidon series, Heart of Atlantis yesterday so I'm reading Wild Invitation right now. I'll probably do a re-read of J.R. Ward's Fallen Angels books since I just got the 4th book, Rapture, this week. (I waited until the Kindle price dropped from $14.99 to $7.99 before getting it.)

Wild Invitation of course. Loved the new novellas and stayed way too late on work night but worth the sacrifice. Since then, I've been reading the Signs of the Zodiac books by Vicki Pettersson. I've just started book 4.

I've been reading the 'Breeds' series by Lora Leigh, it's a flawed series (lots of contradictions and inconsistancies and "but didn't they have that epiphany two chapters ago?") but despite the flaws, she's created such a cool world and characters that I can't put it down.

Haven't read Wild Invitation yet, hurry up the 14th!!!

I read the book "Kein Lord wie jeder andere" von Jennifer Ashley (The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie). A hero with Asperger. What a fascinating idea! I love this book.

This past week read Beauty Awakened and Last Kiss Goodnight - Showalter and some book called Declaration of Courtship which I have been waiting on since reading that sentence about Cooper and Grace in Kiss of Snow, even though I didn't know if you would do their story. Thank you! Loved it. Now I wish it was a full length book :)

Stephanie the contradictions is because the books were written out of sequence. she started with a ellora's cave in ebook format then went to paperback but some of the ebooks happened before and after her paperbacks. See the explaination on her website

Frost Burned by Patricia Briggs, which was awesome! Wild Invitation, which was also awesome! Reading Alpha's Mate and Alpha's Choice by Jacqueline Rhoades, and two non-fiction books. Depends on my mood. I usually have several going at once.

Teriannesis, slight contradictions within a series of books is not unusual and doesn't bother me as long as they're not too huge. It's the little contradictions contained within individual books that jarr me. I tend to read most books in one sitting, so those sorts of flaws leap out at me when I'm reading.
Like I said, I really enjoy the storys and the world, but as I read I've often thought, even with the more recent work, that she needs to find a better editor.
