I’m just about to finish The Perfect Hope, the last book in Nora Robert’s Inn BoonsBoro trilogy and now I’m convinced that my next visit to the States just has to include a stay there. Reading-wise I’m not quite sure what’s gonna be next but figuring that out is part of the fun, at least for me ;)
I read Wolf's Bride by Elizabeth Moss. If you have not read this book, it is set in Tudor England (King Henry VIII's court). I will warn everyone if you are not into erotic romance, this may not be the book for you. I liked it.
I also re-read Thea Harrison's Dragos Goes to Washington, Pia Does Hollywood, and Liam Takes Manhattan. If you read these three, you are going to want to read Gray's book in between Pia Does Hollywood and Liam Takes Manhattan. Can't wait for any new books of the Elder Races to come out.
Right now I am re-reading Lord's Fall. I read this one pretty much more than the other earlier books in the series.
Simone St. James. Absolutely brilliant author. She writes historical mysteries. I just finished "The Haunting of Maddy Clare" and "The Other Side of Midnight".
I'm re-reading Meridién (Silver Ships #3) by S.H. Jucha, in preparation for book #4 Haraken, next Tuesday. I really like this series and re-read it several times. Books 1 & 2 in audio most times. I read Alliance (Linesman #2) by S.K. Dunstall, great continuation on book 1, can't wait for the next one. Love the series concept. The lost starship by Vaughn Heppner, book 1 in the series. It was Ok, but more along the lines of normal sci-fi. Koban Universe 2: Have Genes, Will Travel by Stephen W. Bennett (Koban #5.5) a side-story novel in the Koban Universe. It can be read as a stand-alone, but the events in this book take place during the timeline of book 5, a scene in chapter 9 (I think) is the precursor to this novel. It's a cowboys in space book, kobani style. Errant Contact by T. Michael Ford, a funny sci-fi and book 1 of a new series, really enjoyable. The Kinsman series by Ilona Andrews (Silent Blade and Silver Shark) great sci-fi romance novellas, hope they write more in this universe. The Starship Mage and Hand of Mars by Glynn Stewart, books 1 & 2 of the Starship Mage series, great sci-fi/fantasy series combining well high-tech and magic. Space Carrier Avalon by Glynn Stewart (Castle Federation #1), a more normalish military sci-fi book, but good. Re-read the Bewitched & Bewildred series by Alanea Alder (1-5 out so far), great PRN and very funny, can't wait for the next one. Re-read the True Destiny by Dana Marie Bell, 5 books out so far. Love the series, one my fave by her. I enjoy Norse Mythology books, specially ones were Loki isn't the bad guy. Hope the next is out soon.
As you can see I've been in a sci-fi mood latelly, the last two months I think, and all the new books I read are either in the genre or have a sci-fi sub-genre. In the middle I'm re-reading some of my fave paranormal authors and others that I haven't read in a long time, like Dana Marie Bell. Oh, I've also been re-listening to the GH and Psy series in audio. Planning to re-read Cassandra's Challenge by M.K. Eidem (sci-fi romance) after finishing this one.
I just finished "A Tale of Two Dragons" by G.A. Aiken. It is the latest book of the Dragon Kin series, which I really love. The book is about Addolgar and Braith and is placed very early in the time line of the series. The world of the Dragon Kin series is very well described and logical and I really like the humor of the author.
If you do not know this series, you should start with the first book "Dragon Actually".
Now I start reading the latest book of Ilona Andrews Kate Daniels Novels "Magic Shifts". It was published a while ago, but I wanted to read it in paperback, so I had to wait till this week to buy it.
I read the beginning chapters of Ilona Andrews's newest online serial story, One Fell Sweep. It is the third tale in the Innkeeper Chronicles. As usual, it's wonderful and keeps you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next installment. headdesk.
I also read and re-read books and short stories from Eric Flint's 1632 universe.
I read Devoted in Death by JR Robb and enjoyed it as usual.
I have also found the follow up to Dark Horse by Michelle Diener called Dark Deeds and enjoyed that too. I suspect that there are a couple more of these to come!
While prowling around my local library I recently found a new (for me) author called Tasha Alexander who writes historical mystery books about a Lady sleuth called Lady Emily. They are quick and easy reads and I like them. I am just starting the 4th book in the series now called Tears of Pearl.
Finally when I only have my Kindle with me, I am re-reading Jeaniene Frosts Eternal Kiss of Darkness.
I started re-reading your Archangel series. I'm on Archangel's Consort right now. I think there are several new books I want to read coming out on Tuesday (why do books always come out on Tuesdays?)
I've been rereading the Mercy Thompson by Patricia Briggs and The Other series by Anne Bishop in preparation for next week. I think that I will be sick on Tuesday, the 8th. Cough. Cough.

It's been a slow reading week for me. I liked Rockies Retreat by Crystal Jordan (Destination: Desire #5).
I really enjoyed Fully Ignited, the final book in Shannon Stacey's Boston Fire trilogy. Really hoping she turns the trilogy into a series.
