I have just had the Melbourne Cup long weekend so I have a few books to talk about. I just read R. L. Mathewson's Checkmate from her A Neighbour from Hell series and it was as good as the first 2 books in the series I thought. You may find though the editing isn't as good as a lot of books because she is a self-published author. I also have just finished re-reading Fear the Darkness by Alexandra Ivy which was a great installment for her Guardians of Eternity series. Big Bad Wolf by Christine Warren (also a re-read) was as funny as I remember. My last two books are by the great Shelly Laurenston (aka G. A. Aiken) - anyone who loves a funny book her books are for you, she write hilarious stories - The Mane Squeeze and Beast Behaving Badly. These books contain some of the funniest characters I have come across and my advise to anyone who hasn't picked up a book by Shelly Laurenston or G.A. Aiken (the other name she writes as) you need to get one of her books and read it!

Beth.
