The Lies of Locke Lamora. An awesome fantasy book about a group of con men who rob aristocrats. Lots of witty banter and clever insults. This is not a romance but still worth reading.

I'm reading Envy by JR Ward, the third in her fallen angels series. It's taking me a while to read it because I've been busy: I had my baby, a healthy, beautiful girl, in the wee hours of Saturday morning. 7 lbs 7 oz, 19.5 inches long, and so much hair on her head that everyone comments on it. She's awesome.

I was going to download Archangel's Blade to my Kindle to read in the hospital, but I was so busy staring at her and cuddling with her that I read maybe one chapter of Envy while I was there. As soon as I finish it, I'll get Archangel's Blade and fall in lust with Dimitri all over again.

Favorite books of the year? Hmmm...definitely Kiss of Snow at the top of the list. The last BDB book. And Deeper than Midnight. A few MM books, most notably Hot Head by Damon Suede, which I thought I'd hate but ended up loving. I don't have much of a book budget right now so I've been rereading a lot.

I'm getting ready to read Demon's Night by Meljean Brook. I'm giving this series a second try. Love MB steampunk series and can't wait for the next Iron Seas novel.

My Top Favorite of the Year

Angelfall by Susan Ee

Loved, loved, loved, Did I say Loved? this book!!!It is such a wonderful book! I can't stop gushing about it. She's a debut author published through an Indie publisher. It was so inexepensive too. Less than half the price of a mass paperback. All the reviews I have read about have been 4 or 5 star. So so so good! Loaded with awesome!

Also loved Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James. It's contemporary romance with an erotic edge. Then I loved A Lot Like Love by Julie James.

I'm anticipating your Guild Hunter novellas. Can't wait to find out what happens with Noel and Galen & Jessamy.
