Good News

Archangel's Blade hit the USA Today and New York Times Bestseller lists! Thank you to all of you for your support.

I also found out this week (at the awesome event on Monday at Whitcoulls, Queen St.), that the Psy/Changeling series will be making its debut on the Whitcoulls Top 100! I signed copies of Archangel's Blade while I was at the store, so swing by if you'd like to pick up a signed copy. A big shout-out to all of you who attended the Queen St. event, and to the fabulous staff who organized it!

If you're in Australia and would like a signed copy of one of my books, contact Galaxy Books. I'll be dropping by there tomorrow, so I can personalise the autograph if you get the request in by then. They also ship internationally - check out their postage price guide here.

What's your good  news? :-)

My good news is that I'm having a baby! Hopefully this weekend: my doc is doing something today that will hopefully get things moving within the next 24 hours or so. After I give birth, I'll have a nice 2 day hospital stay that I'm treating like a mini-vacation. No housework, no dishes, no crazy kiddos (I already have a couple of munchkins ages, 5 and 2), no cooking. I packed stuff to give myself a bit of a mini facial, plus I'll finally be buying Archangel's Blade. I've been holding off so I can read it in relative peace.

So all I'll have to do is rest and recover, read, knit, and cuddle my beautiful new baby girl. Send me go-into-labor vibes everyone!

And congrats on the bestseller lists, Nalini. It's never a surprise (you're full of awesome and you know it!) but it's always well-deserved!

Damn, i wish I'd known about your appearanca at Galaxy a bit sooner! I'm in Sydney, I would have come in to gush at you. As it is, I've got commitments I can't get out of on short notice.
Damn!

Congrats on making the best seller lists and the top 100, the recognition is well deserved. I can't remember ever enjoying any series more than your two. I've been chain reading your books almost constantly since I discovered them 3 months ago!

Congratulations on making the best seller lists and the top 100, am hoping to have Archangel's Blade in my sticky mitts really soon meanwhile am re-reading in readiness.

My personal good news is that finally we appear to have movement on our insurance to sort out the roof problems from the series of nasty storms that we have had, so very happy about that.

Congratulations on the bestseller list Nalini. You really really deserve it.

CourtneyLee: Congrats on your impending arrival. Your post made me swile.awww.

I have had alot of good news recently. I have had several more of my poems published in anthologies this month. I'm buying my first house. However this all pales into insignificance compared to the news that........... I HAVE JUST WON AN ARC OF NALINI'S BOOK IN THE COMPETITION!!!!!!!! I have never felt this excited before ( except when Nalini put a picture of my hand on her weblog earlier this month)! The only way I could get any happier now is if my favourite author (guess who?) ever visits the UK (the north-west to be specific). Excuse me now, I am just going to ring my fellow Nalini fans and tell them I won an ARC!

Hi Calista,
I just wanted to say thankyou for introducing me to the beautiful voice of jamie woon. And I totally agree with you about the song.I'm going to use it as background music when I read the nest guildhunter book.

Hi Nalini, I was sorry to have missed your Whitcoulls Auckland visit. I love how you make reference to NZ and the pacific in your books! Great to have such a fabulous kiwi author.
