i like the UK covers best! i just love the look of them!! i guess the US covers remind me of all other romance covers. the UK ones seem more modern to me.. loveeeee them.
I am in two minds about this cover. On one hand I think the other cover is more striking and looks more like Hawke. However I like this cover because it is less embarassing to buy in the shops!
Absolutely! You're SO right! That is exactly the problem I often have with US covers in general: They're somehow embarassing. That's one of the reasons I mostly buy my English novels at Amazon - it's very anonymous. But unfortunately I still rather read them at home then... -.- Because the German covers of the Psy/Changeling series are somehow made in the same style as the US version of KoS, and well, I dunno if it's just a German touchiness, but you DO tend to get odd looks when you read a book with such a cover openly in public... Personally I have no problem with such covers, but I love all of Nalinis books so much that it's even more a pity to have my reading pleasure lowered even by the smallest ounce.
I love both covers. Although I have to admit I was surprised they would mess up something as simple as Hawke's eye color! I mean I know the cover art rarely matches the character in the novel....but come on!! They are blue...not...what color is that!! But that aside, lol, both covers are great. I am a face person and I actually like it when both the hero and heroine are on the cover. Blame it on a poor visual imagination. ;) Fortunately with the hard cover...once you get over the initial shyness of buying the book with the half naked guy on the cover...you can just remove the jacket if you read it in public! Cheers for KoS. Love the Psy/Changling world!!!!

Nope, I prefer the US cover. Running blood equals vampire stories to me.
I am reading it right now and I liked my purdy UK hardback
I liked our cover but it's a nice one too!
