Yay I'm first!!! lol It's funny how much I've come to rely on Fridays so I can get ideas about good reads...I'm currently just looking for recomendations! this last week I've finished the Tairen Soul series by CL Wilson, read the latest argeneau vampire book from Lynsay sands, and finished Angel's consort...which was wonderful of course but left me so curious about the future books in the series!.....Can't wait for KoS!!!
Currently re-reading the PC series, so nearly done with Visions of Heat. Beta reading a story for friend Selena Blake, reading another story by the talented Valerie Mann. Also reading Wesley the Owl by Stacey O'Brien. (Not that I multitask or anything...)
Looking forward to Kiss of Snow rather fanatically, LOL. I'm counting the days until June for KoS. That and Naamah's Blessing by Jacqueline Carey. Gotta love truly excellent series. ^_^
I'm currently reading and enjoying Ashlyn Chase's Strange Neighbors and next I have the sequel, The Werewolf Upstairs, and a bunch of Katie MacAlister's Dark Ones books. Should be a good weekend for reading!
I'm reaading Laura Kinsale's Flowers from the Storm for the second time. It's one of the best historical romances I've ever read. Also waiting for May and KoS + Magic Slays from Ilona Andrews.
I read A Witch's Beauty by Joey W. Hill and it was really really great! I don`t know what I`m going to read now, maybe Branded by Fire again, though I read it about a thousend times already...
I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore, because I plan to watch the movie this weekend and I like me some spoilers.
Just finished Kresley Cole's Dreams of a Dark Warrior. Not one of my top favorites in the Immortals After Dark series, but I really liked it.
Re-reading Karen Marie Moning's ShadowFever. Which is utterly brilliant! I've upgraded my Fever books to my Favorite Re-reads shelf. ShadowFever's cover is gorgeous, too. Printed on plastic that compliments the cover designs. Fantastic story. Definitely recommend it.
Just finished "The Perfect Play" by Jaci Burton. It's about a quarterback and a lawyer...two of my favorite things! The sex was hot and it leads into another books with some of the same characters.
Getting ready to reread Branded by Fire and maybe Cain's Reckoning by McCarty.
Since finishing your awesome Archangel's Consort, I am reading NIGHTSHADE by Andrea Cremer.
Here's the synopsis:
Calla Tor has always known her destiny: After graduating from the Mountain School, she’ll be the mate of sexy alpha wolf Ren Laroche and fight with him, side by side, ruling their pack and guarding sacred sites for the Keepers.
But when she violates her masters’ laws by saving a beautiful human boy out for a hike, Calla begins to question her fate, her existence, and the very essence of the world she has known. By following her heart, she might lose everything - including her own life. Is forbidden love worth the ultimate sacrifice?
I'm currently reading Rachel Caine's Ill Wind. It's my first step into her Weather Warden series and I don't know why it took me so long to find it ... it's great and I'll be surely reading the whole lot of it while waiting for Kiss of Snow ... looking foward to June :D
Just read Lynsay Sands new historical The Countess, as always with her stuff, very funny. Now reading Fangs but No Fangs by Kathy Love. Its cute and fun, lots of vampire love, but nothing to really write home about. I'm already on a waiting list for KoS.
Just finished reading Angel's Consort. I love this series. Currently re-reading Jacquelyn Frank's Damien of the Nightwalkers series. Looking forward to KoS.
I'm reading Stone of Tears by Terry Goodkind and The Perfect Play by Jaci Burton!! Both are excellent so far. SoT is a part of a scifi/fantasy series that is great.
I am getting caught up on the Love at Stake series by Kerrelyn Sparks. I am on book four, Be Still My Vampire Heart. Love this series. Started in the middle, so had to read the first ones.
I'm reading Twitter comments about a CERTAIN book. Does that count? So far, what I've learned from various tweeters is that it's "worth the wait, I promise" and "move over Judd Lauren you have been replaced in my heart by your alpha Hawke." I especially like, "OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. LOVED IT. LOVED IT. LOVED IT!!!!!!" Why do I torture myself by reading such comments, lol?
I'm currently reading rereading Diana Gabaldons Cross Stitch for the billionth time while waiting for my copy of Archangels Consort to arrive in Hungary, its a long story (my sister who lives in the US bought it for me there and brought it to Ireland to my parents house who are posting it to me in Hungary) and i cant freaking wait!!!!!!!!!
I started Lisa Shearin's Raine Benares series. I think it's a pretty great read. Raine is smart but prone to trouble. Also started the Chicagoland vampires series by Chloe Neill on a recom. by someone in the Friday Book Club. I love it!! Also finished up the second season of Castle (what a great show).
Looking for recomendations, too. Read Patricia Briggs' Mercy-Thompson-series and Alpha&Omega-series last week and might start "The Ink Chronicles - Afterlight" by Elle Jasper, which a friend of mine recommended.
Just completed the Demonica series by Larrisa Ione & its a shame it ends at 5 bks. Will be looking forward to her new Lords of Deliverence series coming out April me thinks. Currently reading Archangels Consort, just love this series.
Just finished "A Discovery of Witches"....very good stuff!! I'll also be starting "This Side of the Grave" once it downloads from iBooks Tuesday...can't wait!!
I am new to your work and just finished all three Archangels books this weekend! Wow! I couldn't put them down. I just downloaded the first three Psy/Changeling books. Can't wait to delve into those.
I have just found Nalini Singh and have read all three Guild Hunter books one after the other and OMG I'm addicted. Please tell me Archangel's Blade will come out in the UK on kindle in September too. I am just going to start the Psy-Changling series but already miss Raphael and Elena.
