I'm not going to be online again till tomorrow afternoon, so I'm leaving you with a couple of questions (because my brain is fried with some very tough edits I'm doing right now).
First question just for fun: What's the last book, whether it be ficton, non-fiction or even a children's story, that you read?

Second question (okay, this is also for fun): Do you have any good movie recommendations? I'm probably off to see a movie tomorrow but I'm not very up with the latest releases so hit me with it.

Last book I read: Girls in Pants - the third book in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Loved it!
The last movie I saw was a rental: The Exorcism of Emily Rose. My review - eh.
Last book: THE MANGO SEASON by Amulya Malladi (I'm not counting CLIFFORD'S DAY AT THE BEACH that I read to my toddler :D ). Alas, I haven't seen any of the current releases in the theaters.
I just finished Liberty Falling by Nevada Barr. I recently discovered her books and this is the third one I've read. She hasn't disappointed me yet! I haven't been to a movie in awhile, but I rented Open Water the other day. Great movie but way too sad...
Last book : Paradise City, Sherrilyn Kenyon (I know, I'm only 12 years late on this one!).
Last movie I saw at the theatres was Serenity - loved it. Loved it so much I bought the script. Joss's dialogue skills amaze me - he gets more in a sentance than some writers get in a scene.
P.S. I just remembered, I saw Brokeback Mountain not too long ago. I thought it was beautiful!
MRS DALLOWAY. For my thesis. The last movie I watched was on DVD: THE MIRROR HAS TWO FACES with Barbra Streisand and Lauren Bacall.
Katie G. - every time I hear that title, I think of my fellow Desire author Emilie Rose! Thanks for the Brokeback Mountain recomm. I'm going to see if I can convince my movie-pals to go along with that choice (I think they're in the mood for something less angsty).
Meljean - I'm way behind on current releases too. The last one I saw was Mr & Mrs Smith (great movie).
Josie - I really don't like sad movies because I just start bawling. I watched this one Indian movie and it was so sad I cried for three hours straight. Never again. Ever. (Come to think of it, will Brokeback Mountain induce tears????)
Karen - thanks for reminding me about Serenity! I've been wanting to see that. If I'm lucky, it might still be playing here. And I haven't read Paradise City yet!
Milady - I keep such hearing great things about Jim Butcher's books. I recall reading his first one ages ago and while I liked it, I didn't love it enough to follow the series. Maybe it's time to give it another go.
Lynn - what's your thesis topic (only if you don't mind sharing). I did Eng Lit as an undergrad and absolutely loved it - I concentrated mostly on really old stuff! :)
