Long Weekend

Alt text - Collage of photos from a park in springtime: 1) Lush green grass with a large tree in the left foreground, and a walking path winding up a gentle hill; 2) A herd of brown cows on a lush green hill. In the background is the A-shape of a dormant volcano; 3) A walking/cycling pathway bordered by tall trees, with green grass on either side.

How was your weekend?

We had a long weekend in New Zealand, and I spent most of my time tidying the garden and splitting my dahlia tubers to share.

Ashwini and I also went for a lovely walk with a very good friend through Cornwall Park - an enormous and sprawling green space in the city complete with a herd of cows, and flocks of sheep.

What are some of your favourite spots in your city?
