My favorites are Silver Silence, Ocean Light, and Alpha Night. (Hey I limited myself to only three, lol.)
What I love most about the series is how all the various groups of people interact with on another on an individual basis and how none of the characters ae static but continue to evolve even after they have had "their" book. So I suppose it all comes down to the characters.
My favourite is Last Guard, I love Canto and Payal, but the other ones like Silver Silence are also very enjoyable.
My favourite is Last guard but I really enjoyed all of them.
All the books in the Trinity series are great. Silver Silence and Primal Mirror are great. Bears! Remi, Jojo, and all the rest.
Wolf Rain. Love that 'Big Wolfy Chicken!' as Memory calls him. Alexei keeps finding rubber chickens in his belongings for some time after that. His packmates thought it was hilarious.
Alpha Night :)
None of them. There’s been a very obvious dip in quality and quite a few things that have been retconned to make the new characters work. Extremely repetitive storylines and plots and the new characters have no personalities. No foreshadowings either. It used to be that before a new book, we had met and gotten to know a bit about the character. Now, we’re supposed to just care when new characters are thrown together? A joke. This series should have ended with AoH. What about humans? They’ve been made irrelevant in this series. Nalini used to write with so much depth and nuance, now we can’t even have complex characters. You’re either good or bad. In Wolf Rain, we just see a Psy allowed into the den that’s still connected to the Net. The Hawke of the older series would have never allowed that seeing as he’s so fanatical with the safety of his pack, but what do I know? Disappointing all round and I will choose to believe that it’s a ghostwriter doing the writing and not Miss Singh herself. She’s capable of so much greatness. These are just so terribly dull.
