I read Lindsay Buroker's Sky Full of Stars series (3 books, 2 short stories). This is the sequel series to Fallen Empire with the daughter now the main character. It ends in a good place, no cliffhanger. But the romance is only hinted at a lot. She's said she plans to eventually write more. Book one is The Rogue Prince.

I also read Joseph R Lallo's Rogue Derelict which is set in the same universe (originally part of Kindle Worlds from a few years back, now available wide).

And the latest JD Robb Desperation in Death.

Taking a short reading break to clear off some of my DVR (some Hallmark movies, series 8 of Endeavour, etc.) since new shows start this month.

Just finished both "Life Isn't Binary: On Being Both, Beyond, and in-Between" by Meg-John Barker and Alex Iantaffi, and "Sitting Pretty: The View from my Ordinary Resilient Disabled Body" by Rebeka Taussig. Loved them both, and have added them to my wish list to buy. But I'm really, really, *really* loving "Sitting Pretty". It's my new absolute favourite book!! She nails so many thing right on!! And says them in the best way I've found in a long time! ...okay, make that my new favourite *nonfiction* book. 😂. The Psy-Changeling series is still my favourite fiction series! (haven't gotten to storm echo yet, as my request from the library hasn't come in yet - other people beat me to requesting it first.)
