Just finished Blood Consort by D.S. Wrights. Vampire fans will love this book. https://www.amazon.com/Blood-Consort-Vampire-Romance-Empires-ebook/dp/B08VW9VR65/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1CN5PJNMC23J2&dchild=1&keywords=blood+consort+d.s.+wright&qid=1630052825&sprefix=Blood+Consort+%2Caps%2C341&sr=8-1
Just rereads for me this week. I've been watching a lot of old episodes of The Dusty Wheel on YouTube in anticipation of when Wheel of Time premiere. I haven't read the books, but know a bit about them. I plan to watch for Daniel Henney and Zoë Robins, plus Rosamund Pike and others. I have been assured there will be HEAs for some characters (well provided Amazon doesn't change up the books too much).
Just finished re-reading Lucy Parker's London Celebrity series when I received your newsletter with your comment on her Royal book. So now I'm onto Jayne Ann Krentz's Eclipse Bay trilogy - love that snarky humour!
For a while I had wondered why some (all?) books in my library’s e-book collection have an “extra” copy listed that’s not among the requestable “library copy” ones and I finally realized why – it’s for “Lucky Day” one-week loans and I was so excited about this because I was able to get The Crown of Gilded Bones by Jennifer L. Armentrout on Sunday. I’d had to debate if I’d have time to read 625 pages in a week, though, but that’s less than 100 pages a day and I could definitely manage that. I finished it yesterday and, just simply, OMG the stuff we find out in this book! I am very much looking forward to the next book in this series next year, and to the first one of a spin-off prequel series out in October.
Now that I know about the “Lucky Day” books, I plan to watch out for the one for Last Guard so I have a chance to get it early (I’m still #9 in line for a copy).

Read the excerpt for Archangel's Light in the newsletter. Now I'm reading Origin in Death by JD Robb.
