I just devoured "A Sharpened Axe" by Jill M Beene. This is a Kindle Unlimited book that I liked so much I purchased after I was done reading it. It was one of the recommendations given to someone who was looking for good books to read while waiting for the next book in The Firebird Chronicles series to come out.

Reading Faithless in Death by J. D. Robb. So far it's a great book.

Finishing up my re-read of Shadows in Death and waiting to get 'Faithless' from the library. Hope they hurry. Processing of new books has been slower with the COVID restricted hours and such. Not sure what I'll read while waiting, but I have lots to choose from. Maybe I'll tackle the TBR pile.

Taking another stab at Archangel's War, and reading about Raphael's views on angel infants, and suddenly wishing for a new storyline (of any sort) involving Aden from PsyChangelings. I think he's probably my favourite Arrow. Not sure where it came from, but maybe Raphael reminds me of Aden?

Enjoyed Faithless in Death by JD Robb.

Just read the alternate POV snippet Jessie Mihalik posted to her blog from Polaris Rising. Fun to get Loch's thoughts from early in the story.

Finished up Caressed by Ice and its deleted scene so plan to start Beat of Temptation this afternoon in my complete Psy/Changeling series reread.

Finished Reckless Road by Christine Feehan - best one yet in her Torpedo Ink series. Today I finished Faithless in Death by J D Robb and it was also excellent. I can't believe that it was the 52nd book in the Eve Dallas/Roarke series! Am currently enjoying a new to me author, Julia Buckley, Death of a Wandering Wolf.
