Friday Book Club time! What reads are you loving this week?

I did manage to finish my complete Psy/Changeling series reread before Tuesday :) As an aside, I thought about Memory during every book set in the SnowDancer den, particularly Kiss of Snow.
Sadly, I haven't had much reading time at all this week. So I am still rereading Alpha Night. My first "reread" of the purchased version (though I did read the ARC multiple times). Still finding new tidbits. That's one of the things I love most about this series. Can't wait for the spoiler thread to discuss.
I read Blood Bound by Patricia Briggs. I kept seeing Mercy's name pop up in my re-read of the Alpha and Omega series, so I thought I would start reading Mercy's series.
I also read Alpha Night. Oh. My. Gosh! That's all I'm going to say about that right now.
I am currently reading Dragon Unleashed by Grace Draven. This is the second book in the Fallen Empire series. It takes place after Phoenix Unbound. If you have not read the first book, I highly recommend it.
I really, really, really want to read Archangel's Sun. If the US book cover is a revelation of the story, watch out world.
You Had Me at Wolf by Terry Spear. First in a spin off series about the Silver Town Wolves. I think I'm going to like that series just as well as the Silver Town wolves, if this one is any indication of what the rest will be like!
Also nonfiction Unspeakable: The Things We Cannot Say by Harriet Shawcross. and kid's book The Dog Who Lost His Bark by Eoin Colfer (I think). Liked it so much I splurged and bought it hardcover.
Libraries are finally going to open for curbside pick up of in-city books (not for those elsewhere in the province or inter-library loans outside the provincial library system) starting Monday, so I'll be able to request A Dog Called Homeless (also kid's book)! Looking forward to that! (and also any other of the print ones I've been wanting but unable to get)
Alpha Night, Archangel's Blade,and Archangel's Shadows. Shadow Warrior by Christine Feehan. Turning Point by Lisanne Norman. Originally it was going to be Circle's End but three chapters in I realized that I hadn't read the previous books for ten years and was getting confused about plot, so back to the beginning for a full read through.
With the library finally doing "take out" for requested books, I grabbed Spin the Dawn by Elizabeth Lim and should finish that tonight. It's a great YA fantasy that I might actually buy a copy of for our personal library. Can't wait to get the second book that comes out next month.
Alpha Night arrived in the mail yesterday and I'll start that this weekend (yay for birthday weekend reading!). Then I have Dragon Unleashed by Grace Draven to read after that.
Alpha Knight read, re-read and Allegiance of Honor. I think I will end up reading from Allegiance of Honor to Alpha Knight after the current re-read of Alpha Knight. I keep coming across new snippets all the time I feel. :)
I loved Alpha Night! (Also I think it´s a bit creepy to write about a virus in times of Corona). Thank you for installing the Axl and Tamar tidbit (I love these two).
Also thank you for the newsletter. Loved the short tidbit about Sharine and Titus. (LOL - I`m already in love with her).
Made some progress last night in reading some of the free kindle samples I've downloaded. Had to buy the full ebook of Knowing Why: Adult-Diagnosed Autistic People on Life and Autism, edited by Elizabeth Bartness, the sample blew me away so much! LOVING it so far (two essays in). Probably will eventually give in and buy the print version too.
Also loving Tiger Striped by Jennifer Ashley (part of the Shifters Unbound series). e-novella. Then again, Tiger is my favourite of those Shifters!
Okay, I changed my mind. You Had Me at Wolf deteriorates greatly in the last 1/4. It's like she ran out of words, but had a certain quota to fill, so she just stuck a bunch of sex scenes in (where they unrealistically tromp snow all over the house before removing any clothing, and nobody wears regular pants under their snow pants!) and strung them together with a few words about 'oh, the bad guys started an avalanche, and almost died, but our wolves found them and dug them out so they could be arrested for their crimes.' Not sure I'm even going to keep this one anymore.

Sin and Surrender by K.F. Breene. Also great - wrapping up a fabulous series. So very funny :)
