Not reading yet, but just found at my library "Loki Ascendant" by Asa Maria Bradley. I'm REALLY, REALLY hoping it's a new one in her Viking series. haven't been able to confirm, but I'm really looking forward to it!
Also the newest SWAT book by Paige Tyler. (same status)

sorry, if this is a little disjointed. doing it in bits while watching the newest SVU on a timeshift channel, which means I get to watch it 3 hours early! One of the most powerful episodes EVER!!

I started my annual Psy/Changeling reread. I'm going in published order this year. So far I've reread Slave to Sensation and am about a third of the way through Visions of Heat.

I should hopefully finish it up this afternoon and then I plan to start the last book in Piper J Drake's True Heroes series that came out on Tuesday.

I was hoping to leave my slower reading speed in 2019, but it seems to still be with me.

I'm reading Gai-Jin by James Clavell. This is book three in his Asian series (after Tai-Pan). I read both Tai-Pan and Gai-Jin a long time ago, so I forgotten the story line. When I started Tai-Pan, it came back to me quickly so I skimmed through it.

Gai-Jin, for those who haven't read it, is about what Japan is going through in the mid to late 1800s. This takes place 200 hundred years after Shogun (which is still my favorite of his stories). You should read or skim through Tai-Pan before reading Gai-Jin since there are a lot of names intertwined in both books.

Thank goodness for e-readers. All of James Clavell's books are door stoppers. So much easier to read in e-book format. :D

Tuesday (February 4th), J.D. Robb's new book comes out. Can't wait to read it!

Read a little more of "Life Inside My Mind: 31 authors share their personal struggles" (with mental illness) edited by Jessica Burkhart. Almost finished it. (about 3 or 4 essays left) It's got a lot of really important essays in it! Really good ones too! Recommended read for EVERYONE. I'm so glad I picked it up from the library! Such an important book!! I'm probably going to have to track down a copy for myself.

Oh, just realized part of a sentence got cut off in my first post in this thread!! It's supposed to read 'really looking forward to it!' … sorry about that. Was too absorbed in the most powerful episode of Law & Order: SVU yet! and given that SVU is known for it's powerful episodes, that's saying something. They did promise us this season would be special since it's the record breaking 21st one, and they weren't mistaken.

I’m reading Michelle Sagara new book, Cast in Wisdom, while I wait for your next one.

@Lesa, what is that Michelle Sagara series like? I've acquired a few of them, but haven't gotten around to reading them yet. I keep seeing more of them, but don't know whether I should spend the money or not until I've actually gotten into the series. They look good, but, you never know. sometimes things that sound good end up not being.
