I had a few dud this week, but mostly a good reading week.
I enjoyed Nicole Helm's Ignite (officially book 3 in the multi-author Firefighters of Montana series, but also connected to her earlier books in the multi-author Montana Born Brides and Copper Mountain Rodeo series). I am almost done with her final Farmers' Market book, All I Want (likable characters, but so far a frustrating read).
I also enjoyed Meg Benjamin's Love on Tap (Brewing Love #1) despite the fact I have zero interest in all the talk of how to brew beer.
My favorite book of the week though was Robyn Bachar's Contingency Plan (The Galactic Cold War #2). It was a fun, slightly angsty adventure featuring an Asian heroine and Maori hero.
Read Spellbinder by Thea Harrison. It's book 2 of her Moonshadow series. This is about Morgan. If anyone has read her Elder Races books, he's mentioned in a few of them. This one was slow in spots, but overall a really good read.
Re-reading Devil's Bride by Stephanie Laurens. I don't care how many times I read this story, I always shake my head at the wager in the story. I don't want to give it away if someone hasn't read the book.
Next week, Wildfire by Ilona Andrews comes out. Yay!
read Spellbinder by Thea Harrison and enjoyed it. Currently I'm reading the Rescued from Ruin series by Elisa Braden, was in the mood for some historical romance.. It's pretty good so far (I've only read books 1 & 2 though)
I read The Dragons of Nova by Elise Kova, which is the second book in her series starting with the Alchemist of Loom. I didn't like it quite as well as The Alchemist of Loom, but it was still a good read - the characters were separated and it definitely felt like a transitional book. I'll definitely pick up the third in the series later this year.
I almost finish the "Arcane Society / Curtain / Harmony" series. only a few left to read. A very good read. I could not thank you all enough for the recommendation. It was quite interesting to read the books in a row and follow the characters from one book to the other. I am wondering now what to read during the summer vacation.
Thea Harrison's "Spellbinder". I liked it almost most of all of her books. Catherine Cerveny's "The Rule of Luck" and "The Chaos of Luck" and a book of poens "I Could Pee On This: And Other Poems By Cats" by Francesco Marciuliano
Whenever I open up this weekly update, I also open a tab to Amazon so I can check out (and buy) recommendations I find here. Love this group.
I finally read Silver Silence. Now I want to babysit some bear cubs and am wishing I had a talent for remembering languages.
I started White Hot by Ilona Andrews this morning. I'm also reading Kameron Hurley's The Geek Feminist Revolution. Finally, I should be reading Vanity Fair by Thackery for a book group, but I'm not finding motivation.
New reads: Lucy Monroe's Three Brides fo Three Bad Boys series, Rand, Carter, and Colton. I find that the "bad boys" aren't really bad except in bedroom skills. The three are stand-up guys who decided on lovers and ended up married. More new reads were the reprinted Nalini Singh's harlequin romances Desert Warrior, To Have and To Hold, Secrets in the Bedroom, and Craving Beauty. Different from psy/changling or guild hunter. Rereads: Plush Life by Gini Koch, Allegiance of Honor, Shield of Winter, Silver Silence by you know who, aND Burn for Me by Ilona Andrews in preparation for Wildfire.

Happy reading, all.

I am re-reading the whole psy-changeling series, up to 'Play of Passion'.
Bought 'Silver Silence' and can't wait to read it, but only when I've got the whole series refreshed in my head :)
Got 'Wildfire' today too!! :D
