Yesterday I bought and read Cast In Ruins by Michelle Sagara. It seems like I like each book in this fantasy series more than the last, probably because the protagonist is growing up. The Kindle release date is tomorrow, but the trade paperback has been available for ten days or so.

Hey Nalini, its not midnight in the UK yet, so you made it on Friday, just! I am currently salivating over the 'the darkest surrender' by gena showalter. I've only read a chapter yet, but I know its gonna be sooo good. Her books always are. I read 'Twisted' by her too last night. That was also good.

i read the 2 most recent from christina dodd's chosen one series... i didn't really care for the first book in that series but i like the last 3. i also read carly phillips "serendipity" today. it was good but not great. i also tried a new to me author in barbara freethy. i read 2 of her books and really like them. its been raining a lot here on the US east coast lately so i've read a LOT. read maya banks "in bed with the highlander"... yummy!!!! i also read marie force "fatal destiny".. that was free on my Nook. apparently its a book in the middle of series.. i have to say it did not stand alone for me and i didn't really care for it. ok i think thats it so far. i'm going to read another book tonight.. just don't know what! i read extremely fast. 300 page book only takes a few short hours... so i go through books fast!

Reading Serpent's Kiss by Thea Harrison (why does she remind me of your writing? ). Very entertaining so far. Darker than her 2 previous books but loving it!

I read two books today: The first I won't recommend, but the other one-- Stephanie Perkins' Lola and the Boy Next Door-- is fabulous! Simply delightful. I'm buying copies for everyone I know. =)

Just finished Eve by Iris Johansen. Eve is the first of the Johansen's trilogy to finally complete her Eve Duncan series. While I was reading it, I thought, finally, Johansen's back... when I finished it... I've come to the realization.. some series should end before they become redundant and ruin the strength of the earlier books.

Just finished Creation in Death by J.D. Robb a few minutes ago and now trying to decide between A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness and Dragon Bound of Thea Harrison. Don't know which one to read first, but I'm looking forward to starting both.

"Kiss of Snow" - I can't put it down, yet once it's over, I will be sooooo sad. :(
However, now that I know all of the players, I'll go back to the beginning to reread the series. I'm sure to have a new perspective... looking forward to it. Nalini, is this the last of the Psy-Changling series?

I just finished up Colleen Gleason's The Shop of Shades and Secrets. Fun romance with a sort of Gothic feel.

Today I downloaded The UnTied Kingdom by Kate Johnson. Looks really good, so I can't wait to read it.

Second Grave on the Left by Darynda Jones. Loved the first book in the series. ;o)

I reread both Archangel's Kiss & Kiss of Snow. For a good reason! :) We were talking about the BEST GIFTS given in all the books we've read to date. I posted Elena's gift of an amber ring that was given to Raphael. My friend posted Hawke's Sax-Playing Penguin given to Sienna. And another friend posted the blue grotto.. the spot Hawke had never shown to anyone else but Sienna.

My conclusion: Give it up to Nalini!! YEAH!!
GIVE IT UP TO YOU!! For knowing how to select special gifts to give.

Your world building is Uber Superior!!

Thank you.

Just read 1st in Gail Carringer's series Soulless absolutely loved it. Very Georgette Heyer in tone but with vamps, werewolves and steampunk Victorian London, was a complete hoot. So definitely recommend it. Reading Archangel's Blade at the moment haven't made up my mind on it. The writing as usual is wonderful but Dimitri has never been a favourite so dipping in and out. Might possibly be because can't settle down to read it until the night-time after the kids are in bed and am dog-tired by the time I get there.

I started reading Archangels Blade. It's awesome!! I could seriously be in danger of neglecting my child so I can keep reading it :) I'd actually planned to take it on holiday with me in 2 weeks time, but it was too hard to resist.
