Email & Music

A quick note to let you all know I'm just a wee bit *coughamonthcough* behind in my emails at the moment. I'll definitely get to them all, but if you have a time sensitive question/request, please shoot it through to my assistant: naliniDOTassistantATgmailDOTcom.

And did I hear a request for more Bollywood? Here you go! This is from a movie called Mohabbatein. The title translates as Love Stories. The setting is in and around a prestigious boys college.

Ah! Omgarsh!

I remember this movie! I was such a little thing when it came out! Me mum still loves it! It was so sad! =( I bawled my heart out.

Omgosh,Nalini,who's your favourite bollywood actor?

For me, I'd have to say Hrithik *drools* He had me at Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, although Shah Rukh takes a close second! :P

Gah, I feel like watching Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. I loooved the songs in it, especially the one at the camp! <3

Wow, this really put me into a bollywood mood! =D I need to revisit my collection.

This movie made me cry buckets =( I think anything with Shah Rukh Khan is my favourite -the plot, the songs are all memorable!

Thanks for the Bollywood! It reminded me a little bit of Grease, West Side Story, and She's All That.

I'm not sure if this is Bollywood but I loved the wedding dance sequence in Monsoon Wedding. My daughter gets up and dances when she hears it on the television.

Nalini thanks for the Bollywood song! You should check out the movie PArineeta (2005 version) it's got some lovely songs. Just wanted to say how much i have enjoyed the Psy-changeling series thus far and am (over) eagerly anticipating Kiss of Snow!

Thanks for creating such a fabulous and richly evocative series :)

omg there is so much more to this movie than "The setting is in and around a prestigious boys college."! It's a story about how one can and should do everything for love and how love can bring as much pain as happiness...

I was ten years old when Mohabbatein came out. I had the biggest crush on the guy who played Sameer. Hehe..

But my fav Bollywood actor is Aamir Khan. He's just brilliant! His latest movie, 3 Idiots was AWESOME!
