Enjoyed Lindsay Buroker's Assassin’s Bond (Chains of Honor #3) and Great Chief (Chains of Honor #4). And that was also the last book in her Emperor's Edge world. What a fun adventure!

If anyone else decides to read them all, I read the prequel spin-off series, Forgotten Ages, first since it was set twenty years prior to the other books. Then read the Emperor's Edge series and the spin-offs (Swords & Salt, Chains of Honor)in their published order. There are free short stories (some on her blog). While romance is not the focus—it's more a epic fantasy with steampunk elements—there are plenty of romances within the series (capital R romances complete with HEAs).

I also liked Alissa Callen's The Boundary Fence (Woodlea #7), the final book in that series.

I read a wonderful German Christmas love story:
Verführ mich in Paris v. Marie Weißdorn. Sadly it`s not available in English.

But if you`re in the mood of a spicy Christmas love story: His Christmas Bride is now free for the Kindle on amazon.com.
