This week I read Carnal Secrets by Susan Wright. The books I enjoyed most this year are Wolf rain, last guard and heart of obsidian.

This week I'm rereading Reckless Road prior to starting Annihilation Road, both by Christine Feehan. This year I've enjoyed Jen DeLuca's Well Met, Well Played and Well Matched, rereading Margaret Maron's Judge Deborah Knott mystery series...was sorry to discover she passed away last year. I really loved rereading the Guild Hunter series by you-know-who, prior to Archangel's Light, as well as rereading her Trinity series up to and including Last Guard. So many books, so little time!! Happy New Year, y'all!

I've devoted 2021 to only ONE Number 1 series๐Ÿ’– The BEST of ALL mystery/historical/romance series!

Sebastian St Cyr Mystery by C.S. Harris ๐Ÿ’– So crazy in love with the entire 16 Titles. I must've already reread all of them at least 4 times. There's no sign that I'll ever Love any other series better.

Recently finished Earth Star by janet Edwards. Really loved it, especially how it dealt with the issues of discrimination, prejudice, and acceptance. It's book 2 in her Earth Girl series. I only discovered the first one even had sequels by accident! (Thank you public library!) I'm currently working on #3 Earth Flight. Been a little distracted the last few days though. The weather finally let up a bit so it was possible to do stuff. ...And then we got hit with a major snow storm. Figures. And it's going to be a deep freeze again for the rest of the week. Relief coming next week though finally!!

I can't even remember my favourite reads this year (other than Last Guard, of course!) as I've typically been reading so slowly and intermittently. What can I say, pandemic stress sucks. Now that I think about it though, Patricia Briggs' Wild Sign was this year. (waiting impatiently for it to come out in paperback in the next couple months, along with Last Guard.)
