Friday Book Club

Time to talk books! What are you reading and loving this week?

A fun quote for Friday:

Color streaked his cheekbones. "Judd, you're not listening."

"Listening to what?" The other male shot them a quietly amused look. "We have a tail."

I read Tangle of Need (of course) this week, and Dreaming of You by Lisa Kleypas. Enjoyed them both very much!

Tangle of need-really liked it! I also started Julia Quinn's new book. I feel her books are hit or miss lately and this one might be more of a miss.

I'm waiting for my copy of Tangle of Need(waiting very impatiently). I'm currently reading "Crystal Garden" by Amanda Quick and I just finished "If You Know Her" by Shiloh Walker. I really enjoyed it, and can't wait to start the rest of that series.

"Neuromancer" by William Gibson. It's a decent read. It's not a romance but I still read once every few months.

The Psy have tails too? I thought it was just the changelings! Or is Judd sharing? He did say 'we'.... :-P Maybe I should have stuck with calling myself 'Quibbler', lol, thanks for the new quote, they are very much appreciated!

As for what I'm reading, I am re-reading Mercedes Lackeys 'The Last Herald Mage' triology for the umpteenth time. I'm onto my second set of copies with those. The first set kind of fell to pieces. I never tire of reading them, and I still cry at the end... Anyone who hasn't read them, you absolutely must! They're not as 'sexy' as Nalini's work, but they are a damn good read!

@Stephanie.P - I agree with you about Mercedes Lackey's books. I actually re read all the Vadlemar books every couple of years. Love Vanyel.

I've just finished rereading your Guild Hunter series (for the hundredth time) and am now rereading the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost (for the hundredth time). =P

Next on my to-read list is The Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris and 77 Shadow Street by Dean Koontz, which I'll probably follow up with some light, fluffy romance. XD

Finished Tangle of Need last night, and now I'm going back to A Modern Witch series by Debora Geary, which was hard to stop reading in the middle of because they're pretty fun, but come on...new Psy/Changeling! :D

Finished Tangle and have re-read it already, now I'm just skim reading my favorite parts!

Nalini, we need a q & a session with you for Tangle to clear up some questions! Any chance you could do that when you get back from Germany?

I agree. I need some help on the over-arching story. I was getting confused with some of the names. Maybe a summary of what has happened so far. I enjoy the individual Love stories, but I keep getting mixed up on the other part. Thanks.

Just finished Tangle of Need and all I can say is BRILLIANT!!!! It was fabulous and fun. Once again not only an amazing romance, but a twisting plot that is killing me! I want to know more! haha

Just read Immortal Coil by C.I. Black, about the dragon race going extinct and confined to human bodies. I thought it was very well done, and it is *FREE* on Kindle today (I was looking through my wishlist and went ahead and downloaded it for that reason.) I thought some you might like to know in case it's on your to-be-read list, too, if you have a Kindle!
