I've just finished the fifth part of a serial I'm reading. I never thought I'd like the idea of a serial, and the montly wait between parts, but I'm loving it (and the endless online speculating I can indulge in :)
Now I'm reading another eBook and then it's on to Bonds of Justice. Yes, I'm a little behind - I've been having a break from paranormal romance - but after your 'meet and greet' I'm all inspired again :)
Spectyr by Philippa Ballantine, but it was not that good. I liked the first book, but I think this one was to confusing and I felt like some things that happend just didn`t make any sense...
And I finished Big Bad Beast by Shelly Laurenston, because so many in this blog read it, and well, it was good. Though I like Nalinis shapeshifter world more.
Well, as so many here love the Immortals After Dark- series- I gave it a shot or 8. Downloaded all 8 books on my new kindle and read trough... love all the characters- Nix especially, wonder if she gets a book of her own?
My nights were very short, and baby keeps me busy during the days but what can you say when youre bookaddicted? So waiting for the next "Singh" !!! Greetings vero from austria
North Wolf by M.A. Evereaux. A very alpha werewolf who is a very muscular blacksmith finds his mate. So steamy my glasses fogged up while I was reading it.
Laurann Dohner's Raine on Me. A hot Native American cowboy who will nail any woman that will hold still long enough. Then he meets...her. Funny, very sexy, and shall we say creative when they hit the sheets.
Then I had to re-read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows to get ready for the movie. I liked the book better than the movie. But the movie was tolerable.
I've read a variety of good books this week. The Beach Trees by Karen White, I really like how this writer makes her characters so real-southern lit.
Kindling the Moon by Jenn Bennett. I don't usually like demon stories but this is more than that. It is the first of a series-great voice.
How to Tame a modern Rogue by Diane Holquist-contemporary-light, funny. I finished up the Mary O'Reilly paranormal mystery series by Terri Reid. As I said-great books this week.
I'm an obsessive reader.. well.. obsessive in everything actually..:) So I'm rereading Kiss of Snow .. cuz I love Sienna & Hawke so much.
They're so AWESOME.. so Gorgeous together. The 15 years difference? No big..truly. I love that Sienna is the first X-Psy we've met. That alone wipes out how young she is.. young as the Alpha Mate.. I mean.
Music?? Very Funny.. that she loves Western..Country music.. LOL.. Never expected to hear that music as a background for such an *ss kicking heroine!!!
But..Hey.. I love some country music too.. I'm not insulting it or anything..*BIG GRINS*
@Nalini: Ballywood music you posted for us is awesome!! So I need to ask this...from you. I did find one COOL Hindi movie.. with Fantastic music.. Veer-Zaara. It's an old movie (2004)
???How do you like both this movie & the music? I love both.

Have an awesome weekend!!
@Can't believe it's YOUR WINTER TIME NOW!! I have the heat wave here.. the heat index is 100 F - 115 F these past couple of days!!!
Just finished A Dance with Dragons; dissapointing; I hate that he keeps killing off characters I like. Since I want to be happy will rererereread Kiss of Snow and all the psy-changeling books in order. As you can see I'm obsessed; KOS 5 times and all the others at least 4.
Have just finished Game of Thrones, am starting Clash of Kings right now. I must say it's a bit disarming to see characters in the HBO show that are played by twenty somethings show up as 15 year olds in the book (Jon and Robb) :/
Thanks to your recommendation, I have just finished reading Thea Harrisons Dragon Bound and really loved it. I have put the next two on order at the library so I'm good to go!
I just finished One Day by David Nicholls, Waking Up With the Duke by Lorraine Heath, Silk is for Seduction by Loretta Chase, and How to Seduce a Scoundrel by Vicky Dreiling. I am currently reading Sacred Sacrement by Sheryl Jordan and The Education of Bet by Lauren Baratz-Logsted.
I am trying to make up for lost reading time during the year because of work. :)
