Guess what I have? An early finished copy of Bonds of Justice to give away!

If you could take home any character from the Psy/Changeling world, who would it be and why?

OR, if you haven't read the books yet:

What's caught your interest about the series?

Open to everyone*. Entries close 12 noon, Sunday June 20th 2010, New Zealand time. Please leave some way for me to contact you, or check the blog on Sunday night to see if you've won. If I don't hear from the winner within 72 hours of posting their name, I'll redraw. Good luck!

Hawke or maybe Kaleb....nope definitely Hawke

I'd take Faith home. That way, Vaughn will come to me of his own accord. See, two for one!

I want Hawke That's that kind of man I like. dannimr2004@yahoo.com

I'd have to pick Riley. Love his sense of humor and how he and Mercy go at each other. Lucas would be a close second though.

My pick is ZACH from "Stroke of Enticement" in the anthology "The Magical Christmas Cat".

His care for Annie and his ability to play just appeal to me.

I am definitely not an "alpha" personality and whilst I thoroughly enjoyed every single book, I don't think I would want an alpha personality around all the time.

I would pick either Sascha or Faith. Book 1 and 2 really hooked me into the series and I love the little glimpses in the books about how they are living in the changeling world.

Hawke. I love his control, remoteness but you know he has lots of deep emotions about to burst.

I would love to take home Lucas...and Judd...and Riley...and Hawke!
Lucas got me hooked on the series so I guess he would be the one I would take home....FIRST.

I would love to take home Lucas or Hawke because they're strong, protective, and a softie at heart, but then...they're also intimidating too. lol.

So, I'll play safe and go with Kit! :) Kit seems fun to hang around with because of his youth and he's just so adorable!

Give me an alpha shifter every time...LUCAS!

I've been trying to determine for the past 5 minutes if I liked Lucas or Dorian best and I still can't decide! Lol. Lucas is irresistible, but I like Dorian's more easygoing manner and his humor. That's important; for instance, I love Hawkebut in real life he'd scare the beejezus out of me. OK, let's go with Dorian. Can I have him gift-wrapped? ;))

How to pic just one....I love them all. But I would have to say my first pick is Lucas as his book is the introduction to this amazing world. Can't wait for the next book.

I can't say Dorian because that's my son's name, lol.

This is a tough question because I love them all. I may have to go with Dev. He's tough, driven, and truly cares about those around him.

Oh! Are you still going to RomCon next month??

Cathy M said...

Well, I've got to go with Lucas Hunter since he got me hooked on this series. Loved his strength, loyalty and devotion to the pack, and how good he was teaching Sascha about love.

Judd's my favorite so far, but that's a very hard choice to have to make :).

Tough question... I absolutely adore Judd! His and Brenna's story remains one of my favorites & I just love how he has so much depth beneath his 'icy' exterior. He's so dangerous and lethal, but he puts Brenna before everything!
...Though that teleporter Vasic intrigues me...I keep wondering (hoping!) if he will have his own story... :-D

Marisa said...

Well i would have Hawke, God the men is so damn hot. But Judd too. Can i have both?

Marisa said...

Ups, i forgote the why part. Judd because he's so dangerouse and Hawke because he's a lider, and i love men who can be that.

I have to say Vasic... I also want him to have been the one to have helped Annie when she was trapped in the train accident.

Would love Hawke... but wouldn't want to fight Sierra for him (fingers crossed!). Other choices would be Kaleb or Adan or Bastien, whomever you can spare ;)

Hawke- he probably won't say much, especially about a certain Psy. But I can stare at him all day long =)

Dino Rubio said...

Hmmm...i'd have to say Dorian, for his surfer looks and I just love his personality but I would love to get to know Hawke. I can't wait for Bonds of Justice. Thanks for writing Nalini. :D

I would have to say Hawke. He is still mysterious at the moment because we haven't read his story yet. He is strong, as alpha of the SnowDancers but he was really lovely to Brenna in Caressed by Ice.

But I think I would rather go home with him than take him home with me (to the real world). Part of what makes the characters so special is the complex and different world they are a part of.

I'll take Riley...that tough exterior but so sweet and tender on the inside, although Mercy might skin me alive :)

For me that's easy, I'd take home Vasic. He's single and very interesting.

I have to go with the Lucas fans - can't beat your first changeling!

My choice is Lucas. I have read all the books in the Psy series. I have gone back to reread parts of Slave to Sensation 4 times. I love the blending of scifi and romance. I love Lucas' character since he is responsible, passionate, honet, generous, protective and a visionary traiblazer! He was the first to take on a dangerous Psy... His book is my favorite since it lays the groundwork for the series

Hawke! Definitely Hawke! Yum :D

i have only read one in this series. I happen to be in the library and saw they had it. It was the only one of your books they had so i figured i better snatch it and read it while i could. lol I just this week though ordered all the rest thru Michigan elending library system. YOu get to borrow from any library in the state of MI and they send it to your library. I'll be working thru the rest of the series next week when they start coming in.

Grabbing that one intestested be cause i've read your two angel books and loved them. Stands to reason i'd like whatever else you've written. Blaze of Memory is the one i read and i liked it alot but was a bit lost on some things but that's what you get if you don't start at the beginning.

Great writing!

Gah! My first thought was Judd - I loved his and Brenna's story. Then i was like, "Oh, what about Hawke. Yeah, take me home some Hawke." Then Lucas came to mind. Then I couldn't believe I forgot Dorian. How could I have forgotten Dorian? Loved him!

Clearly there's no way to choose. I'll take Brenna because she's a computer geek like me and seems like she'd be fun.

My choice would be Sienna .She is sassy, spirited, loyal and willing to go an extra mile for her family and makes a wonderful sister and friend.Wouldnt mind her in my corner at home......

Unknown said...

Dorian...cause I just think he is so sexy...lol

Two Cam Sam said...

Vasic!!!

I would take that TK home in an instant. Oh the possibilities…to either null out or create any force or pressure a girl could imagine! Judd’s my favorite so far but I have even higher hopes for the complicated and mysterious Vasic. I hope we get to read about the woman who ultimately defines his loyalties... not a “team player” indeed!

Thanks Nalini for the beautiful escape you give us all!

Zach. His was the first Psy/Changling story I read and I just fell in love. The way he loved Annie and the way he interacted with Bryan in the schoolroom, just perfect

Unknown said...

I'll just go ahead and jump on Hawke's bandwagon.

Putting aside the fact that he's a fictional character, there's something indescribably sexy about a man that's nearly impossible to have. He's more than just a challenge.

Kudos to you, Nalini, for writing such amazing characters. You give them so much life!

Maddee said...

I really liked Vaughn. He's just such an interesting character and I totally adore his shower!! I think my other two favourites would be Lucas and Riley although I can't say why, they are all so different from each other.
Since I can't have any of them, I would just take home my own changeling *gr*

I would have to take home Hawke the Hottie, I could teach him some new tricks and having him wagging his tail....makes me hot just thinking about him!

My musings said...

I would have to take Riley - intense, loyal, committed, with a strong sense of family - what's not to like? ;-)

Allie said...

So many choices. Have to go with Judd. That combination of ice and restrained passion. Ummm, must go reread.

I'd take Dorian or Vaughn home with me, both are sexy and drool worthy. Of course i'd take the book your giving away home instead since they're taken. ^^

This is a very hard choice because I love them all but I guess I will say Lucas because he was the first I read and I fell in love with him first.

Mercy. She's the kinda gal I can relate to - being seen and treated as equal to males. Her being a cat too, has my interest peaked.
