Dispatch from Singapore

Random thoughts.

Changi Airport is awesome! Free wi-fi, really nice helpful Info desk, pretty sculptures and even a live singer! Also, it's ginormous. I had to catch a sky-train to get between terminals then walk an hour (ok, maybe more like 10 minutes at an amble).

I adore my netbook. Adore.

Power-points at your seat in the plane - awesome! Especially if you're a writer revising your book. (Tip for travelers - make sure you bring your plug adapters - I've already used two different plugs today.)

I have now been awake for 20 hours and counting. Plan for next leg of trip - sleep, sleep, zzzzz...

OMG if I'm one crazy fangirl I'd camp out at Changi to catch you and make you sign my copy of Slave to Sensation. I've known of no authors whose books I've read have ever come to Singapore. Until now. OMG.

Erm yea I'm from Singapore. :)

Oh Nalini, I hope you're having fun. Singapore's a great place to visit (I was born there). Where have you been so far?

Sweet dreams Nalini...although how can you sleep with all those movies? Then again...20 hours awake...I'd be sleeping too :)

I'd love to visit Singapore one day!

Omigosh! If I would've known you were in Singapore (or at least Changi), I would've done what Fancy said. I live a stone's throw away from Changi. I love that airport and I sometimes hang out there during weekends to avail 24 hour Starbucks, free wifi, and to do some people watching. I'm currently based here in SG for work =).

LOL - it was just a stopover of a few hours at a very inhospitable time. If I ever pass through Singapore for real, I'll definitely let you all know! :)
