Writing Update

The galleys* for Branded By Fire have arrived, so I'm spending some quality time with Mercy and Riley.

I'm also typing in the changes I hand-wrote on my latest draft of Angel's Kiss. I always start out neat, but then I scribble all over the pages and have to turn them upside down and sideways while entering the changes.

Do you all have anything planned for the weekend? Any books you're hoping to read?

Nalini,
Please don't torture me about news about Branded by Fire.. even about manuscripts. Are you sure you can't move the publishing date to tomorrow? *grin*

Oh, and by the way, can you give your starving fans another conversation that makes you grin from Branded by Fire in your blog? Pleeaaasse!!!

Auch, I ant to read both books now!!!

In the meantime, though, I plan to read "The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook: Dating and Sex" (a gift!!!), and watch "Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson", narrated by J. Deep.

On Tuesday I´ll buy "You are so vein" (Christine Warren), and I´m eagerly waiting for “The perfect poison” – Amanda Quick (realesed on April 21).

Hope u have a great weekend :)

Take care,

Bel

As for weekend plans, I'm planning to do some cooking, reading for class, reading for pleasure, errands, etc.

I've been rereading Sharon Lee and Steve Miller's Liaden stories and thinking about how they do non-stereotypical heroes and heroines who do not fit any patterns. They are wonderful and human people.

Oh, and I want some more hints about Branded by Fire. Please!

I can't wait to read it. There gushing done.

Plans for the weekend? Well...I work tomorrow, will clean all day Sunday (ugh) and then Monday I've got to run errands and try to get stuff done that didn't get done on Sunday. *sigh* Man, there are times I seriously hate being an adult. :S

OH! *smacks head* I plan to WRITE! I'm so close to finishing my first draft it's ridiculous. Just a few more pages and I can write "The End". First time EVER!!!!!! Whee! So, that'll definitely be something I'll be working on this weekend. :)

If I had Angel's Kiss and Branded by Fire in my hands, they'd be my weekend plans!

Instead I'm spending all day Saturday reading the page proofs (galleys) for Spider-Touched (the sequel to Ghostland though a different hero/heroine). Then Sunday I get to play by trailering one of my horses to a friend's house and trail riding.

Chomping at the bit for Tuesday and the release of Ilona Andrew's Magic Strikes. Between now and then I'll probably finish Deathwish by Rob Thurman.

I'm in the middle of the Gardella Vampire Chronicles and I want to do a reread of Faefever. That should keep my busy this weekend...it is cold and rainy here.

I just pre ordered "Magic strikes" and hope to get it in time(Amazon Germany still hasn't sent me Angel Blood... But I'm patient). I'm planing a trip to New York & Montreal in July and read a lot about traveling there. So I'm not too annoyed by not having a good romance novel to read at the moment.
Have all a nice week-end!

I'm almost finished with "Tempt the Devil" by Anna Campbell... going shopping for a wedding and FINALLY getting ready for taxes. So, it's a combination of enjoyable and things I MUST do. LOL!

But, I must say lucky YOU, you get to spend time with Riley and Mercy and to tease us with Branded by Fire, which I cannot wait to read... especially after reading that excerpt.
