Weekly Catchup

It's Friday already!! This week has just zipped by (though lazing in bed suddenly seems like an excellent option *grin*). I've been working on the proposal for the next Guild Hunter book (Angels' Blood will be the first one), plus the first draft of the next Psy/Changeling book. I'm also looking forward to the Oct 7 release of The Magical Christmas Cat.

What've you all been up to? Any weekend plans?

Any hints as to who is after Mercy's book, Nalini?

I am catching up on school work, writing my own proposal this weekend -_- and catching up on papers. Hopefully reading a book for fun, too ^_^

I can't wait for the book release I had pre-ordered so its only a matter of time before it gets here. Anyway since here in NY its not Friday yet but I tend to start my weekend a day early I'm sitting here reading C.L. Wilson's new book "King of Sword and Sky" (Its a really awesome series) and I'm messing around in Photoshop

Maryk - hope you enjoy it! It's been getting some excellent reviews :)

Christina - his name starts with a "D" and has a "v" in it. We're going deep into a whole another side of the Psy/Changeling world.

Reign - you've already got CL Wilson's new book?! I'm so looking forward to that one.

Bridget - OMG!! It was totally by accident! I found him on the web and he was so yummy, I had to share. You have excellent taste :)

p.s. Christina - good luck with your proposal!

Lemme see...

I'm hoping to do some heavy duty gardening and perhaps build at least ONE of the bookcases I need for the TBR mountain range. Otherwise, I may wake up buried in books one of these nights...

Here's crossing fingers on proposals!

Thanks Nalini!

And I am eager for this other side of the Psy/Changeling world... I just haven't had my fill yet of the side we have seen *couch, Hawke, cough*

Congrats on Zach's upcoming release Nalini.

And as for the book after Mercy's, I can't wait for his either ;)

My weekend's full of edits, prepping for a fed tax midterm, and taking care of some urgent reviews. Not too exciting, right?

Hope you're having a great weekend :)

Please remind me again who Dev is!!

Enjoy the book, May!

Anon, how about some more clues to make it interesting? He appeared in Mine to Possess, and he's one dangerous male (even if he looks civilized).

I'm intrigued! :-)

Anonymous said...

Ah yes, I found him in MtP. Thanks, Nalini!

I've been sitting her racking my brains trying to work out who it is, but I think I've just clicked (but only after your second set of clues Nalini :) Is it Tally's boss (whose name I can't spell?) Devros? (And my copy of MTP is at home so I'll have to wait until tonight to check if I'm right.)

azteclady - you're building bookshelves? WOW!

As for my weekend - I spent Saturday packing my grandmother's house (yes, I'm still going). And on Sunday I managed to squeeze in some gardening (I hate oxalis - not sure if you have it in the Northern Hemisphere but if you don't your lucky...it's EVIL!). There is still heaps of gardening to do, but I'll have to pick away at it.

And to tide me over until King of Sword & Sky and The Magical Christmas Cat arrive at the library, I'm reading The Hidden City (Michelle West).

Have a good week everyone :)

Grading papers and doing my own homework. I have 80 reports to grade on Italian Authors.

I may even get some fun reading in.

Nalini Singh said...

Orannia - good luck with the oxalis.

Heather - hope the grading went well!

So, do you guys want me to confirm/deny the identity of book 7's hero, or do you want to speculate some more? :)

Bridget Locke said...

You are evil! LOL!

Um, have no clue. *sigh* I personally think it'll be um...whatshisname? The teleporter Arrow dude! Ack! I can't remember his name! He was so cool and intriguing, but I suck at remembering characters. *sigh*

Am I close? :D

Anonymous said...

Am I close? :D

Bridget - No. *g*

Anonymous said...

Nalini you are evil.....so, am I close please? (Then again, if no one else wants to know I am happy to retract the question)....but we really want to know, don't we? The thing is...if I'm right, who is the heroine? Maybe the latter is the more pertinent question...

Anonymous said...

I'm so curious about the heroine too :) Is it someone we've already met?
On a side note, I can't wait to see what you have in store for Hawke( when his time comes)..he is just absolutely melt-worthy!!

Anonymous said...

Here's what I'll do - I'll confirm the hero at the chat. As for the heroine...hmm, let me think about how I can answer this question.

(There'll be a transcript so those of you who can't make it will still get the info. :))

Anonymous said...

(((((Nalini)))))

For being you! (And for providing a transcript to the chat.) I think I'm 99% right with my guess (which translates to ~10% in real life terms :)

But the heroine.....can we guess please? I have a few theories...
