What are you up to as we ease our way out of 2025 and into 2026? 

I did a full tidy up of my study, ready to start new projects and continue current ones. Today, I’m wrangling the dahlia garden thanks to a windstorm yesterday.

Dahlia season is here! A few photos of blooms from my garden - I love making bouquets for anyone who comes over, or when I go visiting.

First dahlia post of 2025! The flowers are blooming - though they’ve had to contend with some crazy winds! Lots of staking and tying to help them stay upright, but so worth it for their gorgeous display. How’s your new year going so far?

Catch-Up Time

I spent some time in the garden this weekend, cutting down dahlia stalks, scattering their seeds in the hope of random seedlings, potting up cuttings, and eating clementines off the tree for sustenance.

What did you get up to?

Dahlia Patch

More dahlias blooming. The garden pic is of an area I’m slowly turning into a dahlia patch - aim is to have it crazy with blooms. Might take a couple of years but stage one is complete!

Soil Therapy

Obsessed with my foxgloves this year! Which I accidentally matched to my roses.
