I read and loved Beth's Stable by Amanda Milo. The other books in this series have varying degrees of darkness. Some are very dark and some are lighter. I'd say this one is more like Blind Fall - it's a bit scary at first but all of these heroes are good guys and nothing horrible happens to Beth (beside the abduction itself) before she ends up with them. They are very funny and all fall very hard for our heroine. This story fills in several of the blank spots shared series timeline.
I also read Roark's Baby by Hannah Davenport and While Beauty Sleeps by Ripley Proserpina. The first was very short, and just continues the story a bit further past the ending of Roark's Bondmate. It's a nice slice of life but doesn't have a fully developed plot - it's more of an extended epilog. It's fun and has some action but shouldn't be read on it's own. The Ripley Proserpina book is a fairy tale and like a fairy tale, there isn't a ton of world development. But if you like the story of sleeping beauty (I do) it's a modern version with 4 very sweet princes who do what it takes to win their extra cursed princess.

Haven't read this in a long time, and am not currently reading it, but I ran across a (couple of) copies of "Brother Jonathan" by Crawford Killian in one of my used book stores yesterday and got reminded of what an awesome disability rights message is in it!! It can be hard to find, (partly because it's from 1985) so it was great to find, especially since it was 40% off! Bought both copies, gave one to a friend today for a family member having difficulties.

Also saw Pema Chodron's "When Things Fall Apart" , also another awesome book, I was tempted to buy, though I don't know who for, especially since I've already got 2 copies!

Still working through my last Shane Dunphy library book! (still not reading books much!) At least I was able to renew it today! Should be able to finish it before it has to go back.

I read Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys this week. It had been on my TBR for years, so it feels good to cross it off. A solid book but not a great one. It is a prequel to Jane Eyre.
