My favorite book this week was Shannon Stacey's Flare Up (Boston Fire #6). It was a wonderful reunion romance to conclude her Boston Fire series. I also loved Jeffe Kennedy's long-awaited Oria's Enchantment (Sorcerous Moons #5). It had a slow start, but soon picked up. Now eagerly waiting for book 6.

Enjoyed Jill Shalvis' Playing for Keeps (Heartbreaker Bay #7). Also read Amalia James' (aka Carla Neggers) Dream Images.

I also reread Shards of Hope for the gazillionth time.

Currently reading Julie Miller's Do-or-Die Bridesmaid from her long-running The Precinct series.

Enjoyed Feehan's 'Vengeance Road'. It is a darker series, but well done, I think.

I was very sad that my local independent bookshop announced that they would be closing soon. It is leaving a big hole.... I've been part of the book group at Barton's Bookshop in Leatherhead Surrey for many years. Our last book is "A Man Called Ove" by Fredrik Backman. It is a surprisingly funny and touching book about a grumpy old fella who is trying to kill himself. I know it doesn't sound like it but it is worth a read. The movie adaptation is wonderful too.
Looking forward to Nalini's next book x

I am reading Jayne Ann Krentz's Eclipse Bay series (Eclipse Bay, Dawn in Eclipse Bay, and Summer in Eclipse Bay). I haven't read them in a long while. Waiting for two books to come out on Tuesday.

I listened to the first two Sin Brothers audiobooks by Rebecca Zanetti earlier this week. I also finally read Phoenix Unbound by Grace Draven. And I loved it!
Now, I'm reading Forged in Shadow by Anna Carven (part of her Dark Planet Warriors series) and Heart's Blood by Juliet Marillier. Heart's Blood is a Beauty and Beast retelling and so far it has been good, but it's intense!
And I just started the audiobook for Divine Tarot by Thea Harrison today.

I read the German edition of Sage Dawkins Dunkle Ufer. (Loved this book. It´s a bit like Hannibal Lector and Clarice Starling. But with a lot of unhealthy sexy chemistry).

Also just finished Copycat by Alex Lake.

I've been rereading Susan Copperfield's Royal States books-- Null and Void, The Captive King, Guiding Light, and Huntress. They're not perfect, and I couldn't say why they aren't perfect, but I love them. It was time to reread them again this week.
