I read Twistet Love by L. J. Shen. This book is part of the Sinners of Saint series.
It was a very emotional read....

Tsumiko and the Enslaved Fox by Forthright.
Ilona Andrews recommended it on her blog and I am loving it.

My favorite read this week was Mia Kay's Souvenirs. (Sadly it is Amazon only. I very rarely buy Kindle only books, but I had this one in print.)

Overall, I liked Kylie Brant's 11 (Mindhunters #7), though I had a few issues with the plot.

Draconus by Grace Draven. This story is in the anthology Madfall. There is another short story by another author, but I didn't read it. I noticed when I was looking at the copyright the person who did the cover artwork was Ilona Gordon (yep, the same Ilona Andrews). 😄

Now thanks to listening to a Def Leppard jam (their Mirror Ball Live & More album) on my ipod, I'm starting to read Charlie's and Gabriel's story.

Libriomancer by Jim C Hines. A secret society of librarians, books - especially urban fantasy - used to create magic, and a fire spider. The book was published a few years ago, but it is new to me.

Reading Iron and Magic by Ilona Andrews. I did not think that I would enjoy a story with Hugh d' Ambray as the main character. Glad I was wrong. Really enjoying the book one in this new series.

I'm late to the party, but I listened to the audiobooks for Null and Void and The Captive King, the first two books in the Royal States series by Susan Copperfield. I liked both books, although the second book was better I think. The first book is ok, but it could have done with some tightening up and editing in places. But the world building reminded me of the Hidden Legacy series by Ilona Andrews and the banter was entertaining. Be warned, they are "clean" romances, so expect fade-outs before any love scenes. But overall, I greatly enjoyed them and I'm currently plotting to get my grubby hands on the third book in the series. I checked the first two books out from my library (YAY for libraries!!!!), but I'm going to have to source the rest of the books from somewhere else. Time to check the book budget!

And because I apparently can't help myself, I've started re-reading Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones. I've only read this book a gazillion times. *sigh*
